We were in the area for the Cleveland Clinic which is less than 20 away. Outstanding staff, great comfortable room, restaurant on site, and 2 fantastic restaurants within walking distance. My 1st choice when in the area to stay.

Unclean. Windows had layers of unknown substance on it. Bathroom light barley bright enough. Most elevators down, along with the ice machines. Had to go three floors down for ice. Payed for two nights, left after a few hours.

My first experience seeing the place was like no way grass overgrown had one sign on building and we got there early and was trying to check in early because we had that option but no they said no then why offer it and we were tried needed a bathroom from a long drive and had to wait 4 hours so I hit emails also saying can check in at 3 and they said no 4 then I did get told anything about breakfast and my keys didn’t open door to get in building after we parked are car also I was told by another guy to use the other door cause it never locked how safe did I feel now no way ever again not happy

The hotel is in terrible condition. If you haven’t been there, you better get there soon. The elevators were scary. While the elevator that worked. The others didn’t work. You need to get in there and do some work quickly. I will never stay there again.

Front desk reception Lysa enthusiastically welcomed us and gave us excellent hotel information. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Excellent quality bed and pillows (king room) - very spacious. Housekeeper Marie was warm and helpful. Overall, wonderful stay!

Check in line was unreal. 30 people line that lasted an hour to check in. Nowadays you shouldn’t even have to stop at the front desk to check in. Towels are yellow stained. Bugs in the room. They are in the middle opens a renovation but some things are just common sense. Appeared severely under staffed at front desk. Next time I’ll pay more and stay in the city.

I believe she was the general manager her name is Ms. Lysa Young. I had not been able to see my family in a while she really made the experience so wonderful. I would also like to recognize a Mrs.Bobbi Tarner she was a wonderful housekeeper who was understanding when I explained that one of the siblings requires help with some needs and that I apologize in for having to do extra vacuuming some. And in true fashion of a veterans in customer service Bobbie and Lysa both having such great attitude and smiles by saying well if it's a few extra crumbs it was nothing that they could not handle. On a side note I had mentioned that I am supervisor for a large Hospital in charge of patient discharges with 19 EVS technician and and even though housekeeping it's very important that we are overlooked and so under depreciated same with customer service workers.In closing not only would be a returning guest at Wyndham of Independent but would highly recommend them. Keep up the great customers service
