50th Anniversary Trip

What a beautiful old hotel! Gorgeous architectural design inside with beautiful murals, wide hallways, tall ceilings in the rooms. The breakfast and dinner were great. Having a restaurant, The Teachers Lounge, on site was a plus!

Overall Outstanding stay, with a couple glitches

At check in, staff took a while to greet me standing at the checkin desk while they had a personal conversation amongst themselves, which was odd. Once the checkin staff greeted me, however, they were friendly and knowledgable. Hotel has a lot of value-add items like complementary happy hour drinks and complimentary breakfast. Valet staff did not send me a second link to claim my car, so had to wait a few minutes to go in person to request my car, and then wait for them to retrieve car. Overall just a couple minor glitches to what otherwise would have been a perfect stay at a great downtown location.

Great Location with High value

This beautiful historic building is elegant with marble everywhere and more importantly, good air conditioning. They boast a very helpful and friendly staff. great location in walking distance to progressive field, the rock & roll museum and countless other venues and attractions. We found the buffet breakfast and evening appetizers are fairly substantial and essentially two free meals. Downstairs the pool and spa area is well maintained and inviting. We will stay there again.

We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into the room. Very tall ceilings and very large rooms. The hotel is definitely old in age but has had updates to give it a more modern feel. The architecture is very cool and reminds me of an old bank or federal building downtown. I forgot body lotion and stopped at the front desk and asked if they had any and they gave me two small bottles . I was very happy but would be nice if they had body lotion in the rooms. I also asked the front desk for a fan and that gave me a small fan as I enjoy the noise for sleeping and it was a very hot weekend when we stayed. Front desk crew were exceptionally friendly as well as all hotel employees we ran into.we walked to the Rock and roll Hall of Fame and progressive Field for ball games. Very walkable area. The free food and meal options were surprisingly good. Coffee was great! Breakfast options were plentiful. Popcorn and soda is free . Dinner options were very good. Unbelievable that we got 3 alcohol drinks for free each night! Great local beer and wine available as well as mixed drink choices.we even bought pizza from the bar after the baseball game and brought it to our room. It was very think and crispy and good! The pool and hot tub was enjoyable but works be nice if it was cleaned a bit more. The hot tub needed a good cleaning on the steps and bottom. Some hair floating in clumps. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend you give this hotel a try when In the area.

Independence Day Stay

This was our second visit to this Drury. We have loved it both times. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location is wonderful for walking to things in the city. The breakfast and dinner was tasty and convenient.

Incredible hotel stay!

What an incredible hotel! Not only is the actual hotel gorgeous, the building and history of it is amazing. Staff was so friendly and helpful too. Yurunus, at the front desk, was so great at check in! We so appreciate his help and information about the area. Hands down one of the most unique and best hotels we’ve been to!

Overall great but consider not using valet.

The stay itself was wonderful. The valet was great until the last time. They never put ourcar back in the garage. They left it in the hot sun with it full of our items. It was unlocked. This ruined our entire opinion of what we otherwise found to be a lovely stay. They didn’t call me (even though they had my number) and let it sit there 3.5 hours. I hope everything is in our vehicle.
