Independence Ohio Hampton Inn.

The location was perfect for us. The staff was great, the breakfast was great. The beds were disappointing - they sagged and - with my wife's and my arthritis - our backs were aggravated. They also didn't clean the room and they could use a ventilation in the bathroom.

Great stay

The hotel and staff were wonderful. The room was clean and smelled great. The front desk attendant was very nice and accommodating. The facilities and breakfast were outstanding! I will definitely stay here again when in the area.

The staff was so loud and disrespectful outside of our room. They were having the loudest conversations outside of our room 115. If you get this room be prepared not to sleep in past 8 because they don't care. I won't book here again .

Great for the price

Staff were excellent on check in and check out. All around friendly. The room was clean, bathroom was clean. Definitely worth it for the price. I’d stay again.

Elevator was not working. They moved us from third floor to second floor. We were told all of the rooms had been booked before they did this. Also we were promised a discount for not having elevator use and we did not get one. Page stains on the ceiling that looked like water spots. Dirty vents where the heat and air came out. Shower had rust stain. Room did not look like pic. Charging stations did not work. Plus the maid came into our room while I was taking a shower. Will not use Expedia again and will not stay at this brand hotel again. Place looks like it could use a good scrub.

Mostly great

Staff was great. Room was a good size and clean but we hated the sliding bathroom door- didn't feel like you had privacy when using the bathroom. No recyclable cans in the room to use for water bottles. Great location and updated, close to restaurants and main roads.
