The staff wasn't very knowledgeable about the area. They were nice enough but not friendly like you would expect from a hotel. They gave us extra bedding and towels but never offered to bring it up to us. There was no hot water at all the first night and most of the second day, and the shower filled up to your ankles with water because it wasn't draining properly. The elevator was questionable at best and very old. When you first walked in it smelled like cat pee but they covered it with something that smelled like oranges. It wasn't a good smell either way. They told us all they could do for us is comp the valet even though it's a separate entity but they couldn't refund any of our room charges because it was a third party that we used to book the stay. Meanwhile, it's still their property, we're still staying there, and even if they gave us back the night where there was no hot water that would have been the right thing to do and they could have refunded us whatever our third party paid them. It didn't have to be the retail fee if you booked it separately. There was no offer of anything like that. The breakfast was good. That's all.
