The stay was marred by another guest who started his car outside our room at about 6:45am. I guess he was warming his car even thou it was at least in the 60s. He het it run over 15 minutes,

We had trouble when we arrived because the staff member couldn't find the reservation we made through Expedia. She was not very helpful and basically just told my husband "well, it's not here" leaving him to figure it out. Another more helpful staff member finally found the reservation. We reserved one room for two nights and a second room for one night only when the rest of our party arrived. The first room was not great, but it was OK according to those who stayed there. The second room was unpleasant. The bed was fairly comfortable, but the floor seemed unclean. I wouldn't walk barefoot on it because I didn't want to walk on that floor and then put dirty feet in the bed. The tub faucet was rusted and in need of replacement. The bathroom door had a dent in it as if someone had punched it or banged their head on it while sitting on the toilet. The room smelled like wet dog, but it seemed to improve overnight so the smell was mostly limited to the bathroom area. The smoke alarm went off several times in the early morning. When my husband mentioned it to the staff they said they usually just tell people to take the smoke detector off the wall when that happens. That seems like a pretty unsafe and unhelpful response. It was only one night in that room, and we survived. If I had no other option, I could stay there again. However, I would definitely look elsewhere first. It was the closest hotel to our destination, but I would drive farther to stay somewhere nicer.

It seemed to be a nice area co.pared to other Red Roofs i have stayed at. Very quiet which i loved. Great fast service. Seemed clean. No smoke smell.
