Sonesta Anti LGBTQ+

Refused my 2nd stay because I supposedly intimidated an employee during my 1st, prior stay. The staff offered no story. Did not tell me which employee (gender) time, date, place, event. Had no video to corroborate their accusations. Asked for manager and was refused. Was called Anti LGBTQ+ slur and told to leave. There were 2 employees, myself and 4 other guests in lobby when I checked in my 1st time. 2 female employees at the desk the 2nd round. Anti LGBTQ+ Discriminated against permenantly disabled man refusing reservation based on hearsay. Ohio law forbids this

Sonesta canceled my reservation without notifying me or Expedia after I traveled from Michigan to Ohio to their facility. Furthermore, they refused to answer the phone when Expedia called in regard to the matter.

To be honest the staff was ok no complaints about them as far as the cleanliness they had to do a rush clean because they switched me and my wife from one king bed to a loft three bedroom and the clean wasn’t done right my wife had bed bug crawling on her and we checked out before 24 hours of being there so yes I would like a full refund of my stay please

The property was ok. When we arrived the guy told us that our room wasn’t available due to pipe damage. My husband and never received any information or email we drove 3 hours to stay at this hotel. He told us that we had to contact Expedia to accommodate us with another place . Also that we should have received an email from Expedia due to pipe damage. None of this happen. Thank goodness I booked through Expedia they took care of the issue . But this Hotel should be responsible for not reaching out.

I’m not sure if this property is under new management because I’ve been here before and the issue I had I have never had and never thought I would have. They gave me the keys to somebody’s room who was already in there so I ended up walking in on a person who was sleeping in their bed and then they give me a new room and the shower doesn’t work and of course maintenance was not there to fix it.
