This was a wonderful way to end a road trip of cookie cutter chain hotels. The building is beautiful, the staff is helpful, and the room comfortable. The strong water pressure in the shower was nice. It's within walking distance of several museums and the restaurants of Little Italy.

The staff at the registration desk were outstanding!! Friendly and helpful. As was Roger, the bellman. The other staff we encountered [lounge attendant, and event staff we saw in the halls] were not friendly. THey gave the impression that I was invisible, even when they needed to move out of the hallway for me to pass. We took advantage of the complimentary drink and had to have someone hunt down a person to help us. She was borderline rude and not engaged in any customer service. Fortunately, the check-in staff and Roger made up for the attitudes of others. Such a shame as this is a nice place, lots of character and history, and close to so many great things in University Circle.

The hotel is charming and classy. Staff was always super courteous and helpful at all times. Only complaint we had was the size of the beds. The doubles were just a hair too small for sharing comfortably, but we chose to do so. Otherwise it was an amazing trip. Hotel is conveniently located near so many things to do in the area as well as the campus. Highly recommended

The Glidden House was everything we hoped for and more. Within walking distance of several excellent restaurants, with a concierge who was supremely proud of his city and enthusiastic to make sure we experienced it to the fullest, the hotel was a classic, well-preserved estate appointed with beautiful furnishings. The breakfast was great! The neighborhood is Case Western Reserve University with gorgeous buildings and campus. Loved the entire experience!

Just a wonderful place to settle down for the night or an extended stay. Close to the VAMC and the Cleveland Clinic. The hotel is on the campus of Case Western Reserve University.

Loved this place! Walking distance to a variety of museums, botanical garden across the street, Little Italy, a pleasant 10 min walk down the way. Easy check in and the parking was a plus. Very lovely and well maintained hotel. Breakfast was alright. Didn’t leave hungry but yet to stay anywhere where it knocked me off my feet. There was a nice coffee house next door and had a good brew. Walked to a restaurant for dinner in an area where we felt safe. Would stay here again.
