It was so peaceful even though it was next to the highway.

It was a decent facility specially when you dont have many hotels in that area. But the heat inside room was killing me. It was so damn hot that we couldnt sleep the whole night and to have some relief had to keep our windows open whole night which wasnt too safe i guess. Thermostat was showing lowest temp arrow which was at 10 so there was no wat for me to get it down but i am sure inside in reality it was 35+ temp

Very basic accommodations in one of the most beautiful part of the Rockies! Would stay again for the proximity to extraordinary hikes. Was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant on site!
Bedroom and facilities couldn’t fault - was clean and spotless, and the bed was probably the most comfortable of my whole trip!
The only negative is that I wasn’t aware before I arrived that the restaurant closes relatively early - so I was lucky and had arrived with enough time to eat there (and enjoyed my meal), but would have been a very long drive to find an alternative if I hadn’t!

This location is convenient if you’re going to the Columbia icefield. I’m not sure why they call it a resort because it’s not like a resort. The office closes at 8:30pm. Of course I didn’t realize until after all the staff went home that they only gave us two towels for four people. Also its hard to imagine why they don’t have microwaves in the rooms when there is nowhere to get food past 8:30. We brought frozen dinners and didn’t have any way to heat them. And when they tell you to bring your own food, it’d be nice if they give you a decent size trashcan. The itty-bitty bathroom trashcan was the only one and it was overflowing. Besides those problems, the rooms have been remodeled and the beds were comfortable. The shower was very nice with good water, pressure and plenty of very hot water. It was easy to find the hotel from the main highway, which is popular with backcountry campers.
We loved the location of this place. The mountain views right next to the resort are gorgeous! The room was clean and comfortable. The restarant on the property servred delicious food.
The property was just as advertised. The property looked just like the pictures. We realized it was a less expensive place to stay so we set our expectations accordingly. We were planning on just sleeping there and maybe coffee in the morning to head out sight seeing. It was perfect for that. The beds were super comfy, the shower was excellent. Got coffee every morning at the restaurant before heading out. If you are on a budget and plan on being out and about all day this is the place. Would definitely stay here again.
The ambience was good. I observed that in my room only the towels were kept new, garbage were removed and the bed was made. The bathroom looked newly renovated but there was no cleaning of the surfaces or floors. The shower area and the bathroom sink was nasty and there was a stinky smell in the washroom. The heat wasn’t working properly.
