My room was cancelled. Upon arrival at the hotel, the reception team advised us that the reservation was canceled by Expedia. Upon reaching out to Expedia customer service, they did not see the cancellation and saw my reservation as active. Having been embarrassed already at location, my wife found an alternate hotel at the last moment. I await feedback and completion of my refund, including use of points.

Cant really rate what you were lied to about!!!! Booked a room through Expedia.com and got a phone call from Hampton Inn Clinton hours before check-in that they were booked. We had booked our room well over two weeks ago. How all of a sudden the same day you realize your over booked. We had an event we were going to and live over 1 hour away. Ruined our whole weekend. I will never book with them again!!!

Go elsewhere - dirty, old hotel

This hotel should not be part of the Hilton chain. Just awful. The hotel address does not work with gps and I wound up in the middle of nowhere in the dark had to call the hotel three times before they answered and I was told that it happens all the time but that they do not change their website. He told me to enter Cracker Barrell in gps to get there. (My car bottomed out on their pothole filled parking lot). When I checked in, the clerk charged me $75 additional for my service dog and said if I gave him $40 cash he wouldn’t charge me. (Gave him my credit card and after telling the clerk the following morning was refunded the fee). The hotel is so run down and filthy with stained rugs, peeling wallpaper and a terrible old smoke/mildew smell everywhere. My tv would not access any of the channels. The desk clerk was totally unhelpful. I asked if I could just stream and was told that requires a different tv and I would have to move rooms. I gave up and just watched on my iPad. This was one of two hotels in the area and if I was not exhausted and it wasn’t so late I would have driven to the next town to find a more habitable hotel. This place was the worst and I cannot recommend it at all.

too many dogs as they barked a lot in the evening. The toilet leaked the whole time, not on the floor, internally a waste of water and every few minute the tank would have to fill up again. I notified the person at the front desk.
