This place is a toilet bowl!! I booked a room here thru Travelocity for 4 days and three nights in early July this year. I arrived approx 9p. The first thing I saw outside when I arrived was an obviously drunk man stumbling and struggling to stand up AND constantly grabbing is crotch. Ok, I thought, this was just bad timing on my part. I checked in and the front desk clerk was very nice. I went to the room opened the door and was hit with a horrific stench. To be honest it was a smoking room which I had requested but this smell was in another level of gross. The place was dark dingy and falling apart. I sat on the bed and tried to make the best of it but just couldn't take it. I left after 30 min. I checked out at the front desk and briefly explained the problems. I told them that I understood if they needed to charge me for the night and left. A few days later I noticed they charged me for THE FULL 4 DAY STAY, even though5t I was only there 30 MINUTES!! I complained to Travelocity sending pictures of why left but the management of the hotel refused to refund the 3 extra days. Shameful and disappointing. I expected better from the Quality Inn brand. I will never stay at a Quality Inn again.

The staff was friendly, the grounds are well maintained, the room was clean, and there's a great restaurant right next to the hotel. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed that we have ever slept on. It was springy and lumpy.

Bathtub was very dirty….leftover soaps and other toiletries from previous guest still in bathroom. A lot of dirt coming out from under no slip mat in tub. Room smelled like smoke.

Wont stay anywhere else.
We stay at this hotel every time we travel South. I find it to be comfortable, Have never had an issue with cleanliness. Any issue I did come across in the past was taken care of right away. The owner is a sweetheart and he is very attentive to the hotels needs. What I did not appreciate is EVERY single time I stay there they knock on my door at 9 am whether I am a stay over or a check out and that irritates me to no end. As a previous hotel manager the HK are not suppose to knock before 11AM. One thing I appreciate about this hotel is the fact I have never seen a roach inside the rooms. I am huge on that. Thinking about moving down there, just might beg for a FD job and maximize that hotels customer service because the little young girls at night are not interested in their job. and are not good at communicating with their customers.

I should have listened to some of the warning reviews about this motel, but we were in a pickle and need a quick, affordable spot for the night. The mildewy, musty smell coming from the bathroom and AC/heater unit was overwhelming when we entered the room. We had to leave the door open for a bit and used air freshener before we could breathe comfortably. The floor is dark and just gross. The bathtub drain doesnt work well at all. The bed and linens, though actually felt clean and we slept well in spite of the overall ick of the room. The place definitely needs some major overhauling. Try somewhere else, especially if you have a family along. This is more of a trucker stop.

Perfect for a quick rest while traveling. Right off the interstate exit that wasn’t too busy. Mattress was comfy and thick and had clean bedding. Room was clean and good water pressure in shower. Served our needs very well.
