I was so very disappointed. I stayed for my birthday so I could go see my husband and I was very upset. Entire area smells like cow poop then I get my room and bathroom has an inch of water on floor. Given another room and the second room had no AC and was leaking water from ceiling AC vent. No discount as compensation for the disgraceful accommodations. It was too late after a 5 1/2 hour drive to find something still within my budget. When I had told staff about the situation all they would say is oh I’ll tell maintenance.

It was an average Motel 6 experience. This is where you stay when you want a cheap bed for the night, not when you want a luxurious experience. The bed was comfortable enough, but the floors were sticky and the bathroom looked like it hadn't had a good scrub in a long time. Typical Motel 6 and about what you'd expect.

I understand it is a motel 6 and it wqs cheap. But still there should not be dirt all over the place. No remote for TV in room 124. A bucket in the middle of the room because the A/C in the ceiling is dripping water. Towels did not seem clean or just really old. I am too old for that.

The room is incredibly hot! The AC didn’t blow any wind, but produced very loud noise nonstop. We had no choice as no room left while the location is far away from the next stop. The room is quite dusty. You can see all the dust is sticky on the door and window. The staff isn’t in the office but there is no card drop off box for check out. I had to wait for 30 mins to hand in the card.

Trying out a motel 6
Checking in was a breeze because I use hotels.com the lady at the front desk was very nice she insured me that she would get me the best room possible. Unfortunately when I got to the room I realized that the TV did not work so I called the front desk and let the lady know it wasn't me who broke it she laughed and told me that they're having problems with the TV company she let me know that the manager was on the phone with them trying to fix the problem unfortunately the problem never got fixed they did not offer me any other type of compensation. In this particular room there was no refrigerator there was no microwave there was no blow dryer there wasn't even the Bible. I felt safe I was comfortable and I was able to sleep very well

I booked a non-smoking room and when I got into the room it smelt like someone just got done smoking a pack of cigarettes. The room had no hot water what so ever. I let the shower run on hot for 10 minutes and nothing. I turned the sink on for 10 minutes and nothing. My only choices of shower and sink temperature were ice cold and cool. The water temp probably was no higher than 70 degrees.

This motel is struggling and it’s clear the owners or managers have decided to let it flounder because it’s either travelers who will be there one night or the desperate who might live there and have no other options so can’t complain. The one saving grace was the man at check in. Apparently, the AC is out in the entire hotel… he warned me about this and offered a box fan. The room was clean in the surface but I saw a water bug within minutes of entering. The road voice is clearly audible with the room door and window closed, and though the AC wasn’t on (I checked) that didn’t stop it from knocking… all night long. I arrived at midnight and couldn’t sleep until after 5. This was a lesson to myself to not pick the cheapest option ever again.
