The hotel is older but updated and spotless. Hotel employees were gracious and very helpful. I had a very nice stay for a reasonable rate and i will stay there again.

Loved the Scout Inn itself but had issues with our television. The controls never did work together, although the young lady working front desk did try to fix that problem. The garbage truck pulled in behind us before 6:00, and the noise from the suite above us began at the same time. Unfortunately we will remember we did not get the sleep we needed.

An Okay Place in an Historical Town
In nine days of overnight stays on our trip, this was the most expensive and somewhat disappointing. A huge room, but only the desk chair to sit on! (Two people can't sit to have a drink or play cards.) The restaurant was loud and served just small plates. Which was good . . . because we went to "Irma's" historical restaurant, instead!

The Scout Inn was very quiet and very clean. Front desk staff at check-in were super friendly and very quick. It is located within walking distance of at least six or seven restaurants. It is a great choice for lodging in Cody WY.
