Second worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at

We booked a non smoking room but walking into the room we were transported back to 1990 and slapped in the face with cigarette smoke smell. I reported it to the front desk and was told since we paid for two queen bed and they only had king beds we were SOL. The toilet had trash behind it and hair ties in the room on the floor. The breakfast was cold/hard biscuits, gravy, burnt sausage patties, cereal but no spoons. The beds were ok but I’m glad we changed our minds and only booked 1 night. We tried opening the windows to let air in but the hotel is on a main road so the noise makes it so you can’t sleep. Save yourself and stay somewhere else.

The room was very quiet and clean. Ask for abroom on the back side of the building. The breakfast buffet had many fewer options than in the past. The staff was friendly and the nightime cookies are good.
