A great place to stay.

We had a great stay in The Lodge we were in Donegal and spent a night here on our way home. Food was excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Perfect for Exploring North Coast

Another fab stay at the Lodge, which is in a perfect location for exploring north coast. Also lovely to see familiar faces still around despite the hotel having changed ownership. Special request made at time of booking for room with walk in shower accommodated. Enjoyed a delicious evening meal in restaurant - service and food excellent. Breakfast wasn't the usual "help yourself buffet" due to the hotel being quiet, but portions were more than generous and food was well prepared and piping hot. Minor issue with payment for room which was rectified immediately when it was discovered and staff very apologetic.

St Patrick's Weekend stay with the kids

The hotel was perfect for what we needed. It was 10 minute drive to Portrush and 4 min drive to the Jet Centre. We stayed for 2 nighs and it was great. The food was nice and the hospitality was excellent. The restaurant rang our room just before breakfast closed to make sure we didnt miss it. That's the first time any hotel restaurant has called to make sure we didnt miss out.

If in the annex it can be burdensome if you have two or more pieces of luggage as theres many doors within every hallway tou have to push or pull through.

The lodge hotel is beautiful and staff were great.The rooms our gorgeous and cleaning staff were brilliant.The lady on the reception could have been more friendly and more welcoming and didn't even ask did we have a lovely stay.But we would be back again.

Staff have always been excellent and attentive. Breakfast is a treat. If bath towels could be provided instead of the medium size towels, that would be an improvement. Also, on this occasion, two thirds of the shower curtain was missing, so it was difficult to keep the floor dry when showering.

All staff were very polite and welcoming and the room was very comfortable and well appointed. I had room service for my evening meal which was delivered as promised and well presented. Breakfast was self service with a good selection.

Stay was lovely and very good price. Unfortunately the view from the room at the rear of the hotel was dreadful, a fence erected on a wall 2 feet away. It made the room feel claustrophobic This was particularly disappointing on a night the hotel was empty. Otherwise pleased with stay and breakfast was lovely with a good selection of both hot and cold food.

on arrival checking in the receptionist had the cold and was coughing all over my invoice and room key I politely asked if she was unwell, and she confirmed that she was sick.... what a welcome The room was dirty the floors and bathroom floor had a lot of stains, the shower drain was loose and the shower floor had chips in it. Lamps in my room weren't working and some of the bad side switches also didn't work. I ordered sandwiches from room service this took nearly an hour for one plate of sandwiches that had one slice of chicken and half an onion, I couldn't eat it and was charged £6.50 for them and another £6 to deliver it to my room. I booked the executive suite which is one of the most expensive rooms in the hotel so I expected standard to be much higher.
