Too tired to complain

In the beginning at check in there was a computer glitch that was very inconvenient. I always feel that when you inconvenience people you should compensate them in some way. I get to my room. I always spray my sheets and I discover a small stain. I just recovered the sheets and slept on top of comforter. I didn’t feel like going back downstairs especially with their backed up line and slow elevators.

Elevator Issues and cold rooms

This was a nice and clean hotel that had nice, courteous staff. The bed was comfortable and the room in good condition. I did have two issues... 1. The room was FREEZING. I turned the temperature up to 85 eventually and it was still cold, so I finally just turned it off. 2. The elevators were not working properly. There was only one working elevator for 18 floors of people. This caused tremendous back up on all floors as people waited for an elevator empty enough to hold additional people to come by.

The receptionist that handled our check in was quite unfriendly (I should have noted her name). The other receptionist was helpful when we needed an extra towel. We booked the room for 3 people but there were towels for 2 guests only. The room had not been cleaned properly. The remote control was under the bed and there were crumbs on the floor which indicates that the room had not been previously vacuumed and the toilet rim was dirty. The heat in the room was not working and the same unfriendly receptionist said that "it could not be adjusted." However, there was a very courteous gentelman (maybe the manager) who had greeted us earlier and was very attentive to the guests. When we returned from dinner I told him that there was no heat in the room. He asked me for the room number and within 15 minutes a maintenance man came and fixed it.

The hotel lobby and staff were nice. The room itself was updated and nice but seemed like there was a pet before us and left a stained carpet and urine smell. The floor also smelled of smoke. There was also activity happening outside where there were cars being broken into
