The layout is nice, the rooms are big. Unfortunately roaches were crawling on the wall, the microwave had no plate to rest your food on to reheat. No tea bags avsilabe for non coffee drinkers.

Hotel Review: Disappointing and Roach-Infested Stay I had an incredibly disappointing experience at La Quinta. Upon arrival, the lobby seemed clean and inviting, but unfortunately, that illusion quickly shattered. As soon as I entered my room, I noticed a roach crawling near the bathroom. I tried to brush it off, but throughout my stay, I encountered multiple roaches in various parts of the room. The lack of cleanliness and pest control is unacceptable, especially for a hotel that advertises itself as a quality establishment. The roach infestation completely overshadowed the amenities and location. Until the management addresses this serious issue, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Stay elsewhere if cleanliness and peace of mind are priorities for you. Rating: 1/5

The hotel has 2 elevators but one is still down for repairs. The first room we received has roaches crawling on the door, wall and counter. The second room had a constant burning smell. On our last day, we were woken up early by the fire alarm going off. Not the best way to be woken up especially with a baby in the room. I vowed this will be the last time staying here. It has really gone downhill over the years.

It was a ok place to stay for a couple nights
My stay was ok. The workers there were very helpful and kind. Outside of my Hotel room the Hotel is not well maintained for cleanness. Hallway floors were covered with trash when I checked in and headed ro my room. Elevators are super slow. Taking the stairs was a lot more quick to get from or to my floor/room to the lobby. The perimeter of the Hotel was mowed but there was trash everywhere. Looks like people just sleep in their cars in the parking lot. The building looks ro be falling apart. The Breakfast was ok. Wish it was organized in a way where it wasn't a mess. Food tasted ok. Again wish it was organized so it didn't look unclean. I never got a chance to have cereal because when I get to the lobby the milk container was always close to empty which was around 8am. I am glad this is a pet friendly Hotel. Hotel location is great as it is near a lot of food places and shops. Hotel is a short drive to a DC Metro station where you can park and take the train into the city. Very helpful when you dont want to drive into the city. Lastly as mentioned earlier the Hotel Room was satisfactory. Bed was comfortable, most od the bed pillows were comfortable, AC was nice. I didn't find the TV remote so just used the buttons on the TV. Bathroom was ok. Shower area was clean and spacious. The vanity was large enough to fit all my things and the mirror was big and bright which was great. I did find it odd that the entrance door to the room had a 2-3 inch gap so you can see outside floor.

I stayed on the 4th floor. I guess they were painting because the whole floor smelled like paint and bug spray. Made my head hurt. I couldn’t take it so I went home that night. Didn’t ask for a refund or anything. Just turned my key card in and left. The lady at the front desk was nice. And I also saw a little baby roach in the bathroom. Blanket had a small stain on it and the shower was stained.

Crack house on steroids
The entire hotel smelled like marijuana. The room we were assigned had garbage underneath the sink. The hallway carpet was visibly dirty Only one elevator was working so if you wanted to get around you had to use the stairwell which was dirty and spooky.

I first want to compliment the staff. The customer service representative was very cordial and professional I was impressed on the upkeep and cleanliness of the hotel property. I felt safe. My room was enormous and complimented my personality. When I book my next stay, I will definitely like to reserve that same room if it is available.
