I wish someone had warned me

This hotel was falsely advertised. The pictures are not an accurate representation of the state of the property. The place is rundown, dirty, and felt very unsafe. Staff was unwilling to refund my prepaid reservation saying I had to cancel 24 hours in advance. The front desk clerk said she didn't have the authority to override the policy and her manager was on vacation, no assistant manager would be available until Monday. I drove 3 hours for an event and relied on the advertised pictures to make my reservation. If I had known ahead of time what I would be walking into I never would have made the reservation in the first place. I will be reporting this to the BBB, the City of Bryan, my credit card company, and reviewing on every page I can find so no person is taken advantage of by this place.

Nothing went wrong but I looked for a cheap rate and I got what I paid for. Pool was out of order. Mildew smell when the AC was on. It was very hot so AC was on a lot. It was me and my 15 yr old son for a basketball tournament so it worked for us. I would not bring my wife and girls to stay there though.

Do not stay here! It was really awful in so many ways. Not clean at all. Bathroom looked like it had never been cleaned ever! Furniture was stained and really disgusting. Lights didn’t work, Door looked like it wasn’t sealed properly. Staff was not at all accomodating.

the front door didn't completely close properly in the opening, had gaps could see the outside, tv was odd...would work then go off, channel selection was minimal.... I saw several roaches on the vanity top, the room smelled musty and stale, the carpet felt wet to my feet, a/c would be cold and then warm....the fridge freezer needed to be thawed, had ice buildup would not freeze anything, not even water bottles, needed thawing. the ironing board kept interfering with the fridge door...the walk in shower, which I needed, did not have grab bars, so I did not take a shower, coffee pot was iffy, I used the tea bag and did not get another one for the next morning and no cups, very overpriced for what I got..plus the manager that registered me was very rude..I ask if there was a luggage cart, her response this is not a hotel it is a motel...well okay lady, it was just a question. she upset me...anyway, I will never stay there again or recommend it...

The hotel overall was not clean. Shower curtain was short causing water to spill outside. There was only hot water in the shower. Weird black and brown muck in the shower. Dead insect was seen near the commode. The room carpet was not clean especially under the bed.The corners of the room were not clean. The AC was stuck at the same temperature.

This hotel looked nothing like the pictures in person. It was very outdated and dingy. Rust in the sink and the shower just flooded the floor. Grout coming off when water hit it. The bed was comfy but the pillows sucked. It felt humid in the room. Microwave was dirty. Wouldn't stay there again.
