Stay was fine - hotel wouldn't refund the first night due to flight issues. They denied the request because we could have made the stay - not sure how from Detriot. Most hotels understand and give a refund.

My stay was great. The room was clean. It was mostly quiet. The only tricky part was the bed frame. Every time I moved or rolled over it made noise, and the room had a stale smell upon entering. Besides that, it was great. Will definitely stay here again.

I’ll start off by saying I don’t think our experience was typical as I heard several other guests say their stay was great; however, ours was not. When we arrived the room they had us assigned to was not pet friendly, even though we had indicated a pet we made the reservation. The front desk staff said they would upgrade us to a 2 room suite that was pet friendly. That room ended up being on the very end of the first floor, closest to the highway. When we got into the room it was clear that it hadn’t been cleaned well in some time. First we found bugs and little spider webs on the floor in nearly all the corners. Then we folded down the comforter on the bed to find the sheets and pillow cases were dirty with hairs, debris and stains. We called the front desk and they came immediately to change the sheets and apologized for the inconvenience. As I kept looking around I started to notice that the bathroom trash had not been emptied from the prior guest. The refrigerator was not working. There were ants and spiders. Hairs on the shower floor. We were exhausted and it was late otherwise we would have left. The room was right next to the parking lot and the exterior lights shined in the room regardless of the blackout curtains and we heard noise from the highway all night. In the morning I spoke with the front desk and they refunded a portion of the payment. The only pros were the staff and the breakfast.

My kids were really upset the pool was closed. I booked with you guys because they wanted to swim while we had our road trip.it was 95+ degrees and ended up having to find something to do to keep cool. We woke up and had some snack on the desk and everything was covered in ants. Other than that breakfast was good. Very friendly staff.
