Disgusting horrible experience

I have NEVER seen a hotel so dirty and in disarray. The entire building is disgusting. The staff had 0 clean towels for the pool for hours. The floors clearly hadn’t been vacuumed for days, rust is built up on the fire sprinklers, the water in the pool was dark cloudy and dirty, there was a layer of dust on every single surface, the mattress covers were filthy, the hallways reeked of smoke. I have never had such a terrible experience. The staff seemed unsurprised and equally unconcerned about our concerns when we tried to bring them up. Unfortunately, there were so many things going on that weekend that there were no other hotel rooms available within an hour drive. We talked to several other hotels in the area and they shared that they often get that same feedback when others have tried to switch their hotel stay. Do not stay here!!! The pictures don’t do it justice. Every single place here reeked and we woke up with headaches and sick sinuses.

Booked this room for 1 nt. while traveling. There were local people staying there just hanging out, we felt unsafe. At 2am, people were yelling outside and banging on the glass front door!! The toilet didn't flush nor did the shower handle work. It kept falling off when tried to take a shower. The room was OLD very out dated. I would NEVER stay here again.

Overall our stay was okay.

Overall our stay was okay. Definitely outdated things. Upon arrival wasn’t aware of the extra $100 to be put down for an “ accidental” deposit. Our first night we were in a storm- no electricity til about 3:30Am. It was soooo hot! Tv wouldn’t work during our stay didn’t like that. Couldn’t get extra bedding for the couch. Elevators quit working. Room was decent size. Breakfast was good, other than the cleanliness of the areas. Beds were comfortable. Staff wasn’t very friendly or helpful.

The stay was not the best. Entered at 430pm with a check-in time of 3pm. Room was not ready. They moved my to another room due to the elevator both working. My new room had a jacuzzi tub that, with all of the build up on the jets, I wouldn’t dare try it. The room had numerous stains on the wall, missing hardware in the bathroom, giant holes in the shades, lightbulbs not working, and other issues. The cable was offline. This was not addressed at check-in, but the people in the room down the hall mentioned it to me. Breakfast, pass. Everything looks like it’s been there a while. I used the hot water dispenser for tea and there were giant coffee grounds floating in the water. Not the best experience.

Poor management, bed bugs, nice desk clerks though

Upon arrival I was impressed, the place looked pretty updated. However the pool was kinda green, which okay whatever. It happens I get it. As far as the room it was cleaned. The beds were super uncomfortable. Then at 5 am my travel companion woke me up saying she’d went and slept in the car bc she woke up and had bug bites all over her and found a bed bug crawling in her bed. She didn’t want to wake me and the kids up at 2 am. She figured we’d get up if we were getting ate up too. The squished the hug and took it down to the front desk guy who was super nice and apologetic. He said the manager would discount our room, so I asked for a call from the manager. It’s now been 5 days since our check out and no call. After multiple attempts on my part, my room was discounted 15% without my approval or notification, still no call back about it. I’ve got a nasty infected bite. My kids got bites, and I’m beginning to worry we’ve brought them home.
