Fantastic stay

For the price, it was fantastic! Inviting smells when you walked in the door! The staff was so nice! My aunt and I were on our way to Wisconsin to be with my mom because my dad had passed away. I accidentally left my jacket in the room and called to see if they had found it. They did, kept it for me and I retrived it on our stay back home. I was so grateful! The room was clean and had everything needed. Will definitely stay there again!

The facility was ok. Nothing impressive. The walls are not very sound proof. It had high ceilings so every sound bounced around not absorbed by the walls. Breakfast was a 3 out of 10. Athough it was cheaper than other hotels in the area, it would not be my first choice next time. Lobby smelled of a very strong inexpensive perfume, very noticeable as you enter the hotel. Pool was out of order, probably for the best, it would have been loud any way with the thin walls.

Staff were excellent. Very clean. Exceptional value for the money. Would definitely stay again. We came in around 10:30pm and apparently the guest below us thought us walking across the room when we came in was too loud and started banging on the their ceiling. They quickly stopped.

When I made my reservation I mentioned that I was bringing my grandchildren with me so we could go swimming. They never mentioned the pool was closed. We had some very disappointed and bored children all day and night. Then when going to bed, none of us could sleep because of all the noise from people running up and down the halls most of the night. Beds weren’t even somewhat comfortable.

Easy check in process. Room was clean for the most part found some spare hairs in the shower, the area in front of the full length mirror next to the TV smelled like urine. But otherwise it was great for the price and clean and there were blankets actually on the bed and it was spacious and quiet.

Room was clean enough, but I booked a pet friendly room and advised of the same when checking in. When I walked in with an 8lb Yorkie, the receptionist freaked out. Said she didn't put us in a pet friendly room and only certain rooms are pet friendly. When I stated it was noted on the reservation as well as registration, she advised the she wasn't going to change the room. "Just take care of our dog ". She then advised that she was going to charge an extra fee because we had the dog. The fee isn't an issue. The poor customer service and lack of commitment to the hotel is. Upon getting to our floor, the smell of smoked marijuana filled the halls. I wish the staff would be as concerned about weed being smoked in a smoke free hotel than a 8lb Yorkie.

Racing weekend stay

Went for a dirt track trace weekend and this was a great hotel for a couple night stay since we only slept and showered there. Good place to stay when you are going to be out and about. Liked the area, very quiet and felt secure and safe. Breakfast could be better add some packaged pastries, more variety is needed. Only one chair in a large king bed room, it could benefit to have a small couch and coffee table. It has the square footage to have one. My husband would sit in the chair and I had no where to be but the bed and it wasnt comfortably to just sit.
