It has an amazing location and, friendly staff, nice rooms. If you are coming to Cologne and want a place within walking distance of all the must-sees at a reasonable price, this is the place for you!

For my needs, location and price, this hotel worked very well. Apart from the breakfast room and a few seats in reception there are no public areas to relax. However my room was comfortable enough and you could purchase drinks and snacks from reception. Staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the art hanging around the corridors and I loved the view of the cathedral from my room.

The description make sit sound like a great place and its just an okay hotel. It is definitely showing its age. The hot water was at best warm, but the room temperature was SO HOT. I turned off the heat and open the window my entire stay. I wish I would not have used my rewards on this one.

Great location, steps away from the main station and right next to many late night food options. My check in process didn't go as smoothly with the cold front desk guy, but the situation was quickly resolved. The Asian woman who manages the hotel was such a sweet and hospitable person and made my stay feel more welcoming.

Good solo option

Great hotel RIGHT outside the train station. Very convenient for exploring the city and also the train station has a lot of food options so a good central hub. Room was small but very clean and quiet and very functional. I would recommend for solo traveller's for sure. Good breakfast too.

The stay was very comfortable, beds were nice and big for European size. Our room was clean. We were asked to move rooms due to a problem with the pipes but the second room was even bigger and better. Overall, great experience and the staff was friendly and professional.
