The hotel very close to train station like 9 minutes walk. The Christmas markets right in front of the hotel. Beautiful city and very safe. Everyone friendly. Very quiet at night after 10pm. Slept very good.

The property was outstanding for the time spent there. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, the hotel was clean and the staff were fantastic and friendly. The receptionist working the mornings for the stay was always helpful and kind. I would have no doubts to book a stay with the hotel again.

The hotel is a short walk from the station and in the centre of the city. The staff were helpful in arrival and departure. There is a small restaurant area that serves as breakfast area and as a cafe bar during the day. The rooms are small but clean.

Great place to stay especially during the Christmas season. The place is extremely walkable to multiple markets. There was a train that could take you to other markets, that were further away, right outside the front door to the hotel.

We loved the location and amazing views of the cathedral from our room, which was located on the top floor. Breakfast was also excellent. We didn't receive our Expedia VIP benefit, but otherwise everything was great and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

The hotel’s location is excellent, making it easy to explore Cologne’s main attractions, Christmas markets, shops, and restaurants. While the amenities are basic, it provides all the essentials for a comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a decent place to rest without spending a fortune, this is a solid choice. It’s not luxurious, but it gets the job done.

It's an easy 10 minute walk from the railway station and the rooms are quiet. Lots of dining options very close by. My only gripe is that the wifi didn't work very well.

Positives: Large, comfortable room w/nice bath. Friendly, helpful staff. Great location near cathedral. Negatives: Two locations with the same name was confusing. Elaborate and lengthy check-in process. Learning curve for bathroom sinks (electricity needed to be on for electronic, water saving faucets to work) Very satisfied once we learned the quirks, but a nice hotel.
