The breakfast selection was quite limited and rather expensive at €32 per person - not good value for money. Additionally, a cleaning cloth was left on the desk in my room for two days. It was only removed after I placed it next to the used towel on the third day, which was disappointing.

Nice business hotel that was near the train station. Good attentive staff. Though we had an inside courtyard room it was noisy. The noise was from other rooms as well as music from somewhere.

I can tell all was good, the only problem was I booked two rooms and one of the AC’s rooms was not working. When I asked the second nitro check the technician just said sorry we can open the windows for you. The results were horrible!! It caused lots of mosquitoes and spiders crawling inside and making the worst scenario!!! Just wondering why they didn’t change the room!!!?

The mixer tap in the sink of bathroom was not working.So, i had to tolerate using just cold water, as the hot water was far too hot to use on its own. With regards to staff, i had requested one of the waiters in the dinning area of the breafast for a couple of toasts and butter.Ten minutes passed by and when i asked her again,her senior interjected by signalling that its buffet.I wish i had been told this before as i was getting late for the meeting.

The location is great, very close to the central station. The room size is good too. However, we did not sleep well as we were given a room facing the street on the ground level and could here all the noises from the street all night. We requested for a different room but the staff said they could not do so. We were not sure if it was because we booked though Expedia instead of directly from the hotel, even though we have a membership with Marriott. We were deeply disappointed even though we had good experience at other locations.

Koln Marriot Bonvoy, Johanisstrasse

The room was spacious and spotless, though the furnishings and wallpaper were a tad tired. The breakfast and bar were very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Hotel is coveniently located in the middle of the old town, 5 minutes walk from Cologne Central, Station, the Cathedral, the Ludwig Museum and walkways along the River Rhine. There is a taxi rank right outside the Hotel, making it simple to access the airport quickly.
