In the old city close to the DOM CHURCH, the best atracción in KOLN , super pedestrian pads and lots of the best stores, shopping and supermarkets, highly recommended for that rate you can go better

Staff was attentive, and the continental breakfast was beautiful. My only gripe was no USB charging in the room, and I did not have a German plug adapter. Very efficient, no lift, and about a ten minute walk from the train station.

THE MOST EXPENSIVE MISTAKE
This without doubt is my worst experience in a 'hotel'. We paid premium rates during a tradeshow week in Cologne. In excess of £5000 for two romms for 6 nights. The room was tiny 6' x 12'. No cupboards. No drawers, decor was unsightly. For 4 days out of the six I had no hot water in the mornings. My complaints were ignored. Breakfast was eggs by the slice, sausage and some sort of vegetable. Cold buffet if you wanted. Service was sullen if not down right ignorent or not at all. Cannot gain access to the front of the propert after 10pm. My colleague who arrived late had to pick up a key from a key lock and go around (in the dark) to find the night entrance in a creepy lane. The only thing in it's favour was it's location. At least you could escape to some central restaurants or bars, if you were back by 10pm that is.

Bathroom is covered in mold. Particularly large amounts of black mold. Hotel itself is falling apart. Room had various parts of it falling down.
