Great Location

Hotel was in great location as it was within walking distance of Koln. Hotel was nice, rooms were spacious and clean. The restaurants and shops in the hotel seem to shut, but restaurants are 2 min walk. Breakfast was great, with wide selection of hot/cold options.

Poor experience and bad value

Great location, nice breakfast, room was hot and A/C was broken. We ordered a fan and it was not sent until we asked again, didn’t work. Service was bad. Room is out dated, small bed. They jacked up the rates for the conference to 5 star price but a 1 star hotel

Dom and Rhine!

Great hotel in great location. Our room had a marvelous view of the Dom. Grand lobby. Right on river walk. Great restaurants a short walk away.

It felt quite dead . Looks beautiful from the outside but needs rooms updated . Breakfast at 30 euros too expensive. It put me off having a meal there. Pool was unmanned and there was a lot of surface water on floor . Very slippy . I was oncerned that if anyone slipped there was no one there for help . It could be a fantastic hotel as it has the wow factor from outside and in an ideal location .

Had a wonderful 5 night stay at the hotel. I was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews but i was pleasantly surprised. Lovely welcome from check in staff and given lots of information about the hotel and surrounding area. Hotel lobby is impressive, superior double room was spacious, clean and aircon worked perfectly. Breakfast was plentiful and you can order different eggs/bacon from the waitress. My only very small gripe would be that the toaster took ages so put your toast on whilst you enjoy some cereal! The lifts were mentioned in alot of other reviews, to be honest it would be better if all 3 were working but we never had long to wait and we were on holiday so not in a hurry to get anywhere. Central location right by lots of bars/ restaurants and a very short walk to the Rhine. Loved our visit to the hotel and to Cologne, we will be back to visit you both again

The Hotel Maritim is beautifully designed with a multistory atrium. The room was well appointed and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I had a drink at their rooftop restaurant with amazing views of the river and the city. I highly recommend this hotel for its location, service and well appointed accommodations.
