Got back yesterday considering we upgraded to a better room it wasn’t great the shower flooded the bathroom every time we used it the sink leaked all the time also the lamp switch came off in my hand every time I used it I’ve stayed here lots this time I was very disappointed standards have definitely slipped maybe we should have kept the room we originally booked instead of wasting money on an upgrade. This hotel is perfect to get to the Xmas markets and to the choc museum

Had a lovely stay here (def helped by the free upgrade to a junior suite!). Really great location: right next to the river and the Heumarkt (so ideal for getting to Christmas market locations). We liked that we could decline to have room cleaning (and got given a free snack for doing so) - when you are only there two nights, we really don't need anyone coming in to make up our room.

First stay at this hotel and was lovely. Very central location for the city, we visited for the xmas markets and for us we were able to walk to all of them, 2 were just a couple of mins walk away. Also by taking the exit from the rear of the hotel it took you out to the promenade where you could walk along the Rhine. Rooms were lovely, not modern but classic. Shower was great. Only used 1 of the restaurants inside which was nice, also used just for drinks too. Only regret was we didnt get to use the pool as we ran out of time. Would 100% use this hotel again.

Excellent location when visiting Christmas markets in Cologne! Staff was nice and spoke in English. The room was comfortable and the heat worked well. A little dated with the furniture but everything else was well worth staying there. We did not opt for breakfast as there are plenty of nearby options at reasonable prices. Enjoy.

This was my third stay at this hotel and again I was very satisfied with the cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff and the convenient location. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The only thing I would say is that the decor in the rooms is a bit tired and faded and needs updating. But I would very much recommend this hotel.

Amazing hotel
The hotel was amazing. Our room on the 3rd floor had a view over the atrium which is huge, over looking the breakfast restaurant. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was the easiest we have ever used and quite the best for quality. Breakfast was amazing - plenty of choice and Prosecco. The hotel even received a mention on the little train tour.
