We had a bit of a rough trip with the air Canada strike so we were unable to arrive on the first day. Impossible to get ahold of anyone by email or long distance. They might have long distance disabled. If they didn't have mobile check in, we would have lost it and have no where to go. I wish there was someone we could have talked to about our situation. Our room temperature was locked at 28.5°C and even with the instructions it never went lower. The fridge was connected to the cabinet door and there was a gap so the fridge never got cold and everything spoiled. We couldn't really complain as we lost most of our days to the strike so we only had 2 nights. Otherwise, amazing area, easy for transportation. There's a police station right next door so we felt safe. The room was clean as well. We paid for breakfast through Expedia but never had the chance to use it because of our plane situation.

This is a decent hotel if you can secure a good rate. My opinion is slightly impacted by the convention surge pricing, and at this rate this hotel is not a good value. The rooms are acceptable in size but lack some comforts that would add to the stay such as an actual place to eat food, microwave, freezer, multiple chairs, etc. The biggest issue is the bed situation. We stayed in a superior (?) double room, and instead of having 2 double beds pushed together with a layer on top to connect them, there were simply 2 beds pushed together with a gap which isn’t ideal for a couple that actually enjoys being a couple…this combined with the very hard mattress and limp pillows created a disastrous few nights of sleep. Not great if you’re going to be on your feet all day for multiple days at a convention. Checking into the room is a pain, they use a digital system with your phone that just didn’t work. It’s not all bad, it’s clean enough and it looks nice. It just feels like more effort is needed to make this feel like a great place to stay.

My sister and I attempted to stay in this hotel. I was very disappointed with the whole experience. The level of hygiene and cleanliness was far behind the acceptable standard. We’re shocked to find our room in a very poor condition. There were bunks of dust around the walls and under the bed and in every corner, around the lamps and desks. hair and dust on the beddings, the bathroom was very dirty the toilet seat dusty and had scaling. Dead insects and wasp on window seals. The air conditioning was not functioning. We reported the issue to the receptionist immediately and we asked the room to be cleaned they offered us a different room the alternative room was unfortunately in even worse condition. I refused to stay in this hotel because my sister has very sever allergy reaction to dust. The receptionist acknowledged the situation and assured me that I would be eligible for a refund. However, since I had booked through a third-party platform, I was informed that I would need to contact the hotel management directly to process the refund, as the hotel could not cancel the booking from their side without managerial approval. I’ve been chasing them for two weeks and still no response.

Inefficient from staff and parking system. Parking card shoud be validated each time and had to wait at the reception for so long. Old furniture, broken notch to change to shower. Room did get cleaning even rewiested.

This is the worst hotel Ive ever stayed at. Iur room had no phone to contact reception, windows that didnt fully close so the outside noise was constant and the bathroom had tiles falling off. We ran iut of toilet paper and reception was closed so we had none for the night. I wouldnt stay here again even if it was free. Its an old and run down hotel that doesnt even operate like a proper hotel.
