The property was in a good location with lots of things to do within walking distance. The room was clean, but the smell of mold was over powering. Had to keep the windows open all day and night just to be able to be in the room. Yes the smell was really that bad. When we i formed the staff there was no apology given. I would not stay in the hotel again.

Great waterfront stay for families.
We stayed in 402 and it was a perfect fit for our family of five. Waterfall shower was amazing. Views of the river and St. Martins were perfect. Restaurant on ground floor has a little of everything

When we first got into the room - it had a very bad smell. We left and when we came back, it was gone. Carpet in the room was pretty dirty and needs a good shampooing.

Best of Koln
The stay was fantastic from start to finish with communication to execution during the stay through check out. Funny enough, Dilara Yildiz happened to be there during almost all of it, over the Christmas holiday in fact. That is why I took the extra time to write & review. She was incredibly upbeat about taking care of the customers and making sure that we all had what we needed when it was obvious she couldn't have had any more sleep than we had on our overnight flight from the US. Add that to a beautiful location, gorgeous room, the hotel was attached to a fantastic restaurant and it was all walkable to the cathedral, train station, river and anything else you want to get to. We were only there for two nights, but wish we had stayed longer. The views from our room were just wonderful and although some are bothered by the sounds of the city at night (restaurant and bar patrons singing German songs joyfully beyond midnight), we find it invigorating and amusing.

Great Location!
Very clean with great staff. Amazing location! Just be careful when booking. The comfort room is smaller than a closet. Great for one person but not 2. Make sure you pick the larger room. Also due to Christmas market season we had a lot o noise and did not sleep well. Also we asked for a old town view and had a view of a bar with a bright neon light that shone into room around the edges of the curtian. But overall great place.

Like any other hotel in Europe, it’s small but clean. Elevator in only up to 1st floor. You have to drag your luggage if you’re on the higher floor. Restaurants is everywhere and you can walk everywhere. I like that it’s in front of the river.

Mina, Delia, and Stephanie at the front desk are so friendly. Bring your questions about where to go in Köln and share your recommendations and travel stories too. they’re eager to travel more personally and to share more recommendations with guests as well. the room has a well organized wardrobe area and the bathroom is SPACIOUS with a window for ventilation. and a glass door that helps keep the bedroom sound tight.

Great location. Very close to everything and food at that restaurant was fantastic. The potato and bacon soup was amazing. 2 things I didn’t like about this property. 1: no elevator/lift to our room floor. This was incredibly annoying as we had our 2 year old with a pram and moving her when she was sleeping and luggage was not ideal. I wouldn’t stay again unless we were on a floor where there was a lift and didn’t have to go up and down stairs with a pram and very young children. 2: The pillows are not great. Better off sleeping without a pillow. Really bad pillows seem to be the theme in Europe. So fast stayed in 4 hotels and all have horrible pillows. Overall it’s a great hotel and would recommend but not to anyone with a child under 3 unless you stay on a floor where there is a lift.

The room was small (we knew this from booking info) but such a quiet, unique location. We were in a great, walkable location to many things in Cologne. The front desk staff was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and calling a cab to head back to the train station. We had a great stay!
