This hotel is in a great location. Property is well maintained and the beds are comfortable. Quick walk to restaurants, the cathedral and the chocolate museum.

We had booked 2 rooms at the same price in the same class of room and they were very different- one much bigger than the other and one with a tablet and one without. We spoke to reception and he said not to worry they are the same class of room! But that is not the point - one room was clearly better than the other and they should NOT be in the same class or the same price. Neither room looked anything like the photos on the website either! The bed was comfortable, the pillows were not, the shower awkward and was impossible not to get the whole bathroom floor wet. The windows were not sound proof and as the location was excellent with lots of bars around - it was noisy! The buffet breakfast was not a buffet breakfast! There was a coffee machine that was good - but a couple of pastries left out in a very hot room with no cover were not good.

Great hotel, great location

Comfortable beds, nice showers and bathrooms with amenities, lovely views. Free soda and water in the rooms and great service. Loved it!

Underwhelming

A little bit underwhelmed to be honest. The best thing about the hotel was it's location. Perfectly situated for the river front and the old town. The rooms were ok. Beds extremely comfortable. One of our rooms was spacious, the other very cramped. One had a nice view of the street, the other had no view. Now for the negatives. The whole building smelled fusty. The reception staff were abrupt. We didn't get the advertised free daily water or a refill of the coffee pods until we complained. The so called free coffee and pastries between 7 and 10am were a waste of time. There were no pastries left just out of date apples and a few oranges. Would I stay there again? Probably not, I expected more for the price we paid.

A quick overnight in Cologne. The room wasn’t quite a view of hr Rhine, but it was just outside the hotel door. The room was comfortable and quiet, with the windows closed.

Great Location

Had a 2 night stay in family 2bed room. Great location, windows very good at keeping street noise away. Moments from all you want to see in Koln and parking available with discount about 3mins walk. Reception small but all works well and comp. Mini bar a nice touch when travelling with kids.
