This is a beautiful and quaint property facing the river. I stayed one night in a double room. Was on the corner with view of the river on one side and the promenade in the other. The staff were lovely. They gave me wonderful recommendations and held on to my bag after checkout as my train did not depart until 5pm and I wanted to get some more sightseeing in before leaving. The room was spotless and the decor is very pleasing. I especially enjoyed the strong shower head pressure. Would absolutely stay here again!!

Another excellent stay

Second time staying at this hotel. I came back so must have enjoy it. My room this time is on the 3rd floor and much quieter than before. It's a good size and well appointed. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and housekeeping have kept the towels refreshed, replenished the coffee. Can't complain at all really. The location is superb, right on the river in the old town. Transport is easy as it's only a 10 minute walk from the train station. Will probably stop here again next time I'm in Cologne

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect with many restaurants, nightlife, quick bites to eat, sightseeing and shopping. We literally walked to everywhere we wanted to go. The hotel staff was friendly, good customer service and perks for guest. The room was nice and love the view of the rhine.

The property was in a good location with lots of things to do within walking distance. The room was clean, but the smell of mold was over powering. Had to keep the windows open all day and night just to be able to be in the room. Yes the smell was really that bad. When we i formed the staff there was no apology given. I would not stay in the hotel again.
