The breakfast and bar were nice. Room was spacious and clean. Location is great. Only negative is that on arrival I thought the front desk staff I encountered was rude and left the other desk person with a long line of people. Otherwise, the staff were very friendly. I would stay here again.

There were good things and bad things about this hotel. Good things were how close it is to Garden of the Gods and other nearby attractions in Colorado Springs. There are also good nearby restaurants within walking distance. The main bad thing with this hotel was that I felt disrespected by staff at check-in. I was told I was required to sign a paper 3 times and the desk staff acted impatient like they didn't want me to read the paper I was required to sign. I was also required to pay a $300 deposit on check-in. This deposit was refunded to me, but when I questioned the purpose of the deposit (because $300 is a lot of money), I was talked down to and felt like I was treated like I was stupid. Upon review of other customer's reviews after staying here, it does appear that others have felt disrespected by the check-in staff at this hotel. The complimentary breakfast was one of the better complimentary breakfasts I've had at a hotel with a waffle bar, coffee, and juice. The hotel room we stayed in was a suite which included a kitchenette with mini stovetop, washer and dryer, fridge, and dishwasher; this room appeared to be cleaned well upon arrival.
