I am rating this 5 out of 5 mainly because I had the best time in manitou springs,,, the location of the hotel was amazing me and my husband stayed out at the arcade across the street till 10pm ,, we are use to staying embassy suites with breakfast included ect ect… but picking my own breakfast the next morning wasn’t to bad either… the rooms were nice, I don’t feel like nothing was outdated at all it’s definitely just a historic hotel, I felt me and my husband were the youngest couple there that night lol and we walked all around the hotel like little kids, the rooms were clean bathrooms were clean, everything was nice and welcoming, I have no complaints! It was a one night stay and it was worth it! I am a Colorado native and have never been to manitou springs and we had a blast!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this historic hotel. Valet parking was $20 a night. Not having to deal with parking for the entire trip was really nice because everything was walkable and we took the free shuttle to do the incline. The staff were kind and thoughtful, the room was comfortable, and the happy hour deals at the bar were a plus!

This was our second stay at Cliff House. We love Manitou Springs! Quiet, quaint, great attractions. The food at the hotel is excellent and reasonably priced. Room coffee is even good! The Teddy Roosevelt room was spacious and had nice bath amenities, but we could have used some directions for the steam shower. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It is a historic hotel and if you know historic properties you know they are constantly needing attention. That said we always enjoy places with charm and character over the big chain hotels.

Lovely historic home converted into an inn. Happy hr snacks and drinks til 5:30 and an excellent 4 star dining room. We loved the French onion soup and ceaser salad with anchovies and Parmesan crisps.

Everything is rated average.Front desk clerk was rude to us on checkin. Bed average and pillows poor. Tv operation required tro remotes and tv too large for cabinet making it about two thirds screen viewing.Tub shower dangerous stepping into and fixtures difficult to use.Old hotel losing its charm.
