This was a very nice , uniquely decorated hotel. Very clean and comfortable, and a very good breakfast. The price is great . I will recommend this to anyone comming to this area. There was also a shuttle from the airport!. You can't go wrong booking here.

We visited The Academy for the first time in 10 years, and stayed for 2 nights. The lobby area was very hot. There were no directions to get the TV to go to the menu, and no one came to help after we called. The coffee maker was broken in our room. There were all kinds of plumbing and knocking noises, and no fan in the bathroom. There was only one bath towel in the first night. On the second night, the towels were refreshed, but the tub was not cleaned.

The service of the staff was very good. The front desk, breakfast host, servers and omlette maker were all great folks. The accomodations, room were not good at all. The mountain view room I initially paid for was not available. The room we had did not have a view, but dirty windows and parking lot view. Carpets are worn and stained.
