Great Stay

Very central to downtown and Garden of the Gods, Pikes peak. Charming hotel, you can tell it is a hotel from the 1800’s but with new updates (water pipes are noisy, smaller room) but the charm and character are so fun. Starbucks right in lobby, east valet parking, 24 hour indoor pool, beautiful Mountain Views. Customer service is amazing!!

Excellent views and easy to walk to some restaurants. The property is dated and the only restored part is the lobby. Our room run down and outdated. The pool area was nice and they do have an area with pool tables and arcade games. Service was poor. My suitcase stand was broken and they said they would replace it but they never did. We couldn’t get housekeeping to clean our room after asking twice at the front desk.

Our King room with mountain view was clean, with the exception of the exterior of the windows. The staff was accommodating. Check in and out was smooth. The property is showing its age, but the location is ideal.

Loved the historic hotel and the staff were great. The only issue I personally had difficulty using their toilets in the room bathrooms. They were the shortest toilets I have ever seen. It was quit difficult getting off. Had I known that, I would have booked a handicap accessible room.
The best view ever!!!! We were in room 1001, with a wrap around view of the entire mountain range& Pikes Peak.

I did not like that we tried very hard to have our four rooms close together to only get to one of them and have the air conditioning broken. I did not like that our sheets were rough and pilley. The hotel is in desperate need of renovating. I liked that they tried to help us quickly with the room situation even if it was not ideal. I also liked the beautiful mountain view. The valet personnel were mostly excellent. Location was also good.
