Cozy and comfy
Great, cozy older motel. Comfortable and convenient to downtown Manitou Springs (easy walk). We stay here at least 2 times a year when traveling to Winterpark.

The staff was friendly at every interaction, they were knowledgeable of the area and had excellent suggestions for dinning locally. The rooms were big! I wanted to take the bed home with me. The laundry facilities were warm, well lit and only opened to the room keys. I felt safe using them. My only suggestion would be to add a snack vending machine with the drink machines. We enjoyed our stay.

The Villa Motel is a nice little place to stay. The room is very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Plenty of hot water for a good long shower and very quiet through the night. I’ll definitely stay there again.

The Villa Motel was great -- nothing fancy (although a seasonal pool and year-round hot tub were a bonus) but everything was done well. Bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the staff took pride in welcoming guests and making sure their needs were met. Super close to downtown Manitou Springs -- stroll on over so you don't have to fight a battle for parking. Overall, The Villa Motel is a terrific choice!

We loved Manitou Springs and will certainly go back for a longer visit. This motel was selected for its proximity to Garden of the Gods. We visited Garden of the Gods three times in less than 24 hours. Sunrise, midday and sunset. So proximity of the hotel was important. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We were on the second floor and had a nice view. No elevator so keep that in mind if lugging heavy suitcases. We were able to park close to our room. Unfortunately, the hotel is now charging $5 to park in their parking lot. I feel that is ridiculous considering how old the motel is and the fact parking was always free and now they are charging. Was not aware of that when booking. I would prefer they just increase their room rate by $5. Very close to the downtown and walkable if you want to walk ten minutes before even getting to the downtown. We drove to the downtown area as we did not know the town and wanted to get a feel of it first. Lots of parking on the streets and in parking lots but all of it is paid parking. Have to pay by text. I think you can use a credit card in the lots. Next time we visit we will get a bed and breakfast or stay at a hotel in the downtown area that also offers a full breakfast.

Wonderful place to stay in Manitou! Walkable to the quaint shops and restaurants. Very clean and exceptional customer service! I stayed here as a child and was pleased to return as an adult! We will be back!
