My family spent 1 night to attend my friend's wedding. I also brought my service dog. At check in, I let Chris know that I had my dog but I forgot the paperwork while rushing. I offered to pay the $25 pet fee if needed, but she told me that I was fine. After I got back and checked my balance to go grocery shopping, I was missing $300. They had $150 posted and $150 pending. When I called, I had to wait until the next day to speak to a manager. When I called her (Connie) back, she seemed to have an attitude with me even though she was aware of the situation by that t. She cut me off and talked over me to let me know that it's $25 if you tell them about your pet and $150 if you don't. I tried to explain to her that I did tell the host at check in. She cut me off AGAIN to rudely say "I already talked to her and refunded your money ma'am". Sooo.... why was I being spoken to rudely and being told the rules AGAIN when I offered to pay the $25 at check in and it was because of THEIR lack of communication, I was out of $300 that was not supposed to be charged to my debit card??? I was the person that had to borrow money to feed my children because of YALL mistake. I stayed on Sept 7th. The pending $150 did not fall off until Sept 12th and I didn't get my posted $150 until Sept 13th. On top of paying for my stay, I was wrongly charged an ADDITIONAL $300 until it was corrected. DEFINITELY NOT COOL AT ALL!!! I am a single mother with limited funds. Worst experience EVER!!!
