Don’t stay here

This was truly the worst hotel experience imaginable. At check-in, the staff didn't even ask for ID. The pool was closed, and there was visible black mold around it. The entire hotel smelled strongly of smoke. Although they advertised a free continental breakfast, nothing was available in the morning. The rooms were filthy, with what looked like dried blood stains on the sheets, dirt in the shower, and missing fire detectors. The overall condition of the room was very poor. There were random people wandering the hallways in the middle of the night, which frightened my kids so much that we decided to leave and book a room at a different hotel.

We were just staying one night for an event. One of the selling points was that it has a pool. Unfortunately it was not open and the water was green. The hot tub was also not working. The free breakfast was horrible. Only waffles and white bread. Some apples that were well past their prime. No milk, cereal or yogurt that you would normally find on a continental breakfast. The room was okay an extra blanket would have been nice. But the metal bed frames were hilarious. Every time you moved they popped and groaned. And our room would not have passed a fire inspection the fire alarm was completely gone and the sprinklers had paint on it. We have stayed at this location before and it was much better. It looked like they might have been trying to do some upgrades. If they put that on their website it would be awesome.

The entire reason we stayed there is so my son could use the pool. The website doesn’t say the pool is out. Apparently it’s always not working. Plus my son’s game ended so we went at 2 to check in like the website told us we could. NOPE Got there and we were told that it is 3 and they didn’t care what the website said. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. No joke. The floor would have been better. Cleanliness was alright. Morning breakfast was what I expected. I’m an executive chef so I’ve done better in a place just similar to that hotel. Not a horrible place but if I ran the place I would do a better job with information

The hotel has smoking rooms which makes the whole hotel smell like cigarettes and the pool was not open when it said it would be! Our pillows looked dirty and the toilet just kept running

Indoor pool was half filled and green, hallway smelled so strong of marijuana it came into our room, reported it to the front desk but pretty sure they were the reason for the smoke, breakfast choices for guests was 1 orange and 2 apples. Hard pass on ever staying here again.

It was bad the bedding was stained and dirty,there was dirt on the floor all around the refrigerator, which did not keep anything cold,at all. Wires hanging out if the ceiling, no smoke detector, no screen on the window and fill of ants

The hotel had a terrible smell. The floors were dirty. The furniture in the rooms were nasty and paint peeling. The light didn’t work, phone didn’t work and tv had 4 channels. The floors were cracking and breakfast was so sad. There were flies all over the room and the beds were horrible.

The first room we were given was on the ground floor with a window without a screen, and a lock that did not work. This hotel is right off of the interstate and it did not feel safe without a locking window. The beds were not clean with dirt and hair on one. The second room was standard for the price. I was disappointed the sheet had a quarter sized hole near my face. The blanket was sheet thickness, I would have liked an additional blanket to be in the room.

Faulty HVAC unit etc

The bed was supported by what sounded like tin. Every time I moved it sounded like I was crushing the beds supports. The HVAC unit kicked on and off, about every 10 minutes. It came on loud then after a minute or so would quiet down. This was all night. I tried to silence it by changing from heat to cool and plus changing the temperature but it still continued, then I just TURNED THE UNIT OFF BUT IT STILL CONTINUED. I got very little sleep. When we went to eat breakfast there was a commercial mouse trap on the floor under the refrigerator. I hate to give a negative review as the personal were friendly and helpful but it was the 2nd worst hotel experience I've had in the past 50 plus years.

Bathroom were horrible. Shower was molding. Window did not lock and no screen. The floor was falling The breakfast was not breakfast. Beds didnt fit on bed frame. If there was anything low than a 1 star. We would give it. We will not be back to this location.
