I was in town for the Pink concert. The location was excellent. It's an easy walk to the Colonial Life Arena. I parked on the street around the corner from the hotel. Tons of restaurants nearby. Carrie at the front desk did a great job of handling the onslaught of guests checking in before the show. (Free drinks at the bar because my room wasn't ready were a nice perk.) When a room was ready, I was given room 330. Somehow, I misunderstood what room I was in and tried to enter room 225. That misunderstanding was completely MY fault. Carrie had given me keys to an unoccupied room, and I took it upon myself to enter the wrong room.

Couldn’t check in until after 5:30 instead of the 3:00 checkin due to rooms not being ready. Beds not comfortable. Heard weird scratching noises all night long. Room definitely not designed for a woman in mind as there was no bright lighting anywhere to do makeup and hair. Otherwise, very clean hotel and staff is very polite.

Overall the hotel is nice. Great location with solid dining options within walking distance. However, as is with the hotel industry as a whole, there are simple things that have taken a slide over the past 5 years that frankly…are piss poor. I’m not one to whine about cost if there are amenities that match the cost. You would think that for $750 per night, there would possibly be a couple of bottles of water in the little “dorm room” refrigerator, and maybe the towels would be a little less like sandpaper. The room was spacious and clean, but few of the benefits of paying for a nice hotel are just missing. This could be wrong, but I do not believe that the profit margins are so tight that we need to be taken advantage of any longer. COVID has passed! It’s time to return to basic amenities. Remember when air travel and hotel stays used to be fun, and a bit posh? Well their not now and I now lump hotel stays in the pile with air travel.

Great Option in Downtown Columbia
The hotel was very nice, clean, and comfortable. Parking is limited, so be prepared to wait for a parking space in the busy evening hours. There are many great restaurants nearby. The breakfast was good -- nice hot breakfast selection as well as continental breakfast items. Coffee was good, too. The towels in my room had makeup stains on them. I wish the laundry service could get these stains out before they place them in the room for me to use. In room coffee service is poor. Housekeeper did not replace coffee pods used my first night. Television had good offerings and was a larger television than normally found in other hotels. I will be back next year for my business activities in Columbia. It is one of the better hotels in downtown Columbia.

I just laid down in my bed after traveling from another state. The sheets smell musty like left over body odor and cologne. only good thing i discovered thus far is the location.i will file a customer complaint especially for almost $200, this is ridiculous
