Hotel was fine. Parking lot is not large enough although they had overflow parking in a garage around the corner. You had to ask for a ticket to avoid paying the garage fee though. Biggest disappointment (again) was the breakfast. Poor variety (just had basics) and workers did not top anything off, they would wait until food or plates or silverware or drinks would run out before refilling them. Workers would stay in back for long periods of time and not be aware that anything needed to be refilled. We chose to buy breakfast elsewhere after the first day instead of eating their free breakfast.

Loved how close it was to The Senate concert venue. Downtown Columbia is such a beautiful and unique area, and the hotel didnt feel intrusive on this historic nature of the area. Super friendly staff, great breakfast, incredible view. The only issue we ran into was the super squeaky bathroom door, but that was quite literally the only problem. Clean, well maintained, and affordable.

The hotel was nice and staff courteous. However, one reason for selection was the indoor pool as we were traveling with 3 grandchildren who love the water. Pool water was so cold, we could not stay in it long. When another two people came into the pool, I said jokingly "are you here for the polar plunge"? After jumping in they said "we know what you mean". The hotel apparently wants to market that they have a pool, but refuse to heat the pool in order to save money.
