Great night sleep!

Really comfortable and incredible beds! My mom and I both had one of our best nights of sleep in a hotel that I can remember. We also received a great text in advance asking if we needed anything (and they responded)!

Staff check in were not friendly or knowledgeable. Until a younger employee came in and got things moving. Breakfast was listed as starting @ 6:30 and wasn’t served until 7:00. There are no brochures in the room that give information about the hotel or amenities.

We were crossing the country and had to stop to sleep for a few hours. We received a call from the hotel around 9:20pm confirming our stay, which was very thoughtful. We arrived around 11:30pm, and to our surprise the guy said he needed me to stay at the hotel next door (supposedly their “sister hotel”), I didn’t understand very well why, but for what I understood from the Indian guy at the reception, they had recently had issues with the fire alarm going off. -hold that thought! We made our way to the hotel next door, which they were ready to check us in, we got in the room and it wasn’t 2 beds as we had booked, the whole place smelled weird, very dirty, the fridge didn’t hold a cool temperature, but it was already 12pm at this point and we would have to leave in a few hours. We finally fell asleep after taking showers, and by 2:58am … we were awake by the fire alarm in the hotel going off … (I thought it was the problem on the original hotel ?! ) we already had our stuffed packed, and our personal alarms were supposed to go off at 3:10am so we made our way downstairs. The guy that checked us in seemed very surprised to see us, and gave us an excuse for why it had happened, anyways. The whole thing was very unpleasant to say the least.

Loved the rooms. I’m a big fan of not having carpeting and having the vinyl flooring in the rooms. Much much cleaner. The room had an upgraded modern look to it which I very much liked. The common public spaces seem very nice although I didn’t have much time to use them. My only reason for lower score is that I was there for the state track meet. The hotel was clearly sold out and the morning of the first meet day Friday, there was one woman trying to put out all the breakfast food for us and she was obviously struggling. I think the breakfast is a nice touch but I felt bad that this woman was all by herself. Definitely could use some more staffing on the busy weekends.

We stayed for a Softball tournament. Great staff, rooms are spacious, clean and beds are comfortable. Local Mexican restaurant was great also. Would definitely stay here again.

After checking out Sunday I noticed red bite marks appearing on my arms and legs. I’m not saying bed bugs but I would recommend looking into that. Other than that the breakfast was nice and the room was good. Wish there was more of a towel for the pool instead of a large hand towel and they monitored the pool area more. We couldn’t enjoy it and had to go back to our room.
