Needs an update

Nice staff but my most underwhelming La Quinta stay. The suite I booked had a broken air conditioner so was given a smaller room - fine, but the AC there was only so-so and the room carried a musty smell through the night. Also, the toilet seat was broken.

Manager eventually attempted and promised to compensate for disastrous reception and room switch, but in reality, the partial refund never occurred and we wound up paying for a suite only to end up with a regular king bed room. Reception upon arrival was simply unacceptable. Entry to the hotel parking lot was blocked by construction tape which we eventually navigated around, only to find a sign at the desk saying staff would return in 15 minutes. We waited in 90 degree heat for their return, only to be directed to our unprepared suite which was 84 degrees inside. So in addition to no parking access upon arrival, there was extremely limited ground for pet relief, and then no apology for failure to have our room occupancy ready. After 30 minutes of sweating in a hot room, the manager appeared and I convinced him to provide a reasonable alternative. He switched us to a king bed room (not a suite as paid for) and promised a 50% discount on our prepaid rate. While they did refund our pet deposit, the prepaid suite was never reimbursed. The simple matter is, their repair work was not managed properly, sealing off the entire parking access, then rather than deal with it from a customer service vantage point, the staff argued we should just book somewhere else and get a refund! We did not have time to re-book after waiting so long to get in, and the manager's final solution sounded acceptable compensation for an awful initial impression, but apparently had no seriousness of follow-up

Nice, clean hotel. Good service, decent breakfast. Spacious rooms. Only complaint was the beds were terrible. They sagged in the middle and sounded creaky whenever you rolled over. But it was a nice looking facility and well kept.

It is an older hotel that has been remodeled since the last time I stayed. My room Was clean, it was quiet and the staff was friendly. The only issue I had was no toilet paper in my room when I got there and only coffee for one morning of my stay. I ask front desk for more and was told I could come down stairs to get some. I get up early to read and pray and enjoy a cup of coffee before I shower so having to get dressed to come down stairs was inconvenient—

i really liked the room especially the floors and the set up. We chose this hotel through Expedia. We were visiting our bible class in the area and it was only 10 minutes away. Negatives There were spots on the floor that were easily cleaned up. There were spots on the floor and wall in the bathroom. the floor in front of the sink was split and sitting up, There was and outlet next to the door that was broken. The bed was way too soft for The big negative the cleaner knocked on our door to clean between 7a-7:30 a. Not cool

The outlets were fake and had no power. There was no hair dryer. They said they would bring a hair dryer to the room but never did. When I complained, the clerk just made excuses about being busy. The hotel construction was noisy. The male clerk in the lobby was constantly on his AirPods making calls, and his service was poor.

The rooms had just been remodeled we're very nice, and even had usb ports fir charging. The inly downside is they advertised a pool and as part of the remodel ut was removed.

I booked through Expedia and wasn’t told about extra pet fees. There are no elevators and my “Deluxe King” room didn’t have a bathtub which also was never communicated. There was no one in the lobby when I walked in. I asked for a map and they told me I could take a picture of the one at the desk. The lock on my door didn’t work. The closet wouldn’t shut unless you closed both doors at the exact same time. There were black marks all over the floors. There was what looked like black mold in the bathroom. The room smelled like someone had just cooked food in it and left. There were people standing at the outer door smoking with a crushed can in the doorway as a doorstop. For a pet-friendly hotel, there was only one patch of grass for dogs and it was in an active parking lot and was maybe the size of a parking spot. There was some kind of yellow/brown stain on the comforter. The bed was so worn out that I felt like I was sleeping directly on springs. After a full day of driving, I was so disappointed and my husband was frustrated. Good ice machine location though.

Not a good first impression.

The outside lobby area of the hotel was undergoing renovation. It looked run down and terrible. I drove around the entire building before I could find the entrance which was propped open with a jug. Security was important to me as I was traveling alone, but the entrance to my building was not secure and I walked right in. The room itself was clean looks like it had been recently renovated.

I’ve stayed at several La Quinta Inns in the past, and they’ve always been a good experience. This property was bad. It’s old and broken down. I can tell that they are trying to fix it up, but it’s more of just cosmetics. Painting over things that need to be replaced. My Bed was sunken in in the middle. It was so old. That’s the first time in a long time that I felt like I had to check the mattress for little critters. There were none, but I noticed that the mattress itself was very dirty and yellowish. The linoleum floor was dirty. I made sure to keep my shoes on the entire time. The room just gave a cheap drop in motel feel. I pulled the office chair out to sit at the desk, but the chair itself was filthy. There were so many stains on it so I just sat on the bed instead. I should’ve been wary of the low price listed for the room, but I thought well, it’s a La Quinta, it can’t be that bad. I was so disappointed. Never again. Oh, I can’t forget to mention all the noise from down the hall, coming from the other rooms. I guess the cheap price listed brought in other undesirables too.

Pretty awful. The room smelled terrible and there were frayed, exposed wires from lamps and the ac, plus a broken outlet plate. Besides being generally unsafe, we were traveling with a toddler, so couldn’t stay there. We asked for a refund but the only employee said he couldn’t do it and a manager would contact us tge next day. We’ve heard nothing.
