My husband and I stayed for 2 nights. We loved how quiet it is and the porch has rocking chairs we sat and relaxed in, letting the world melt away. Breakfast was a nice selection. Eggs and sausage weren't great, but edible. Everything else was alright. Neither of us prefer a firm mattress, so the mattress wasn't comfy as they were pretty firm but we did manage to sleep well enough. If you like a firm mattress, you may love the beds. We were walking distance to the grocery store. Since we had a fridge and microwave in our room, we did pick up a bit of groceries for our stay. There is a laundromat, hardware store (more like a variety store) and McDonald's in walking distance as well. We didn't get in the pool, so nothing to say there. We never saw anyone in the pool, but it did look nice. Ask for extra towels.

The staff of the property are amazing. However, Room 214 had water damage at some point; there was mold growing in the art on the walls. The heated swimming pool was GREAT! Hot breakfast was ample.

This time wasn’t the best.
The first few times we stayed we loved it, this last time made me not want to go back. The part we looked forward to was the pool as it was 90 degrees outside. The pool was absolute freezing, like unfathomably freezing. I looked at the thermostat for the air and it was 65 degrees and that felt hot compared to the pool. There was also a weird smell in the pool room, like a chemical burning smell. So that was very disappointing. Upon check in, I swiped my card, the person told me the card declined and to come back later for payment, I went to the room and I checked my bank and I was charged for the room, when showing the front desk, they made me pay again and told me the first charge would go back on my card, it did go back on there a week later, but there were no apologies for the mishap.

This is an older facility but is well kept. The staff is courteous and attentive. While the breakfast is free it is in need of improvement. Automatic machine coffee was bland. However, the pool was a real treat.

Pretty good hotel in a great location! It was close to all the shopping and dining in the area. I've stayed here before for a concert at the Brown County Music Center amd we were able to walk from the hotel and not have to worry about parking.
