The shower was even with the bathroom floor so when you took a shower, the water came out onto the floor. This is an accident waiting to happen! I slipped & fell, luckily everything ok, but this is a hazard! There was NO soap in the bathroom so we had to use shampoo instead. Everything seemed dingy & dirty. The desk help had accents you could barely understand. Unfortunately, we won’t be using this particular Microtel again. We were VERY disappointed! We were looking forward to having this hotel for our ’go to’ when we visit our family numerous times a year.

Had to ask for soap they came up with one bar for both of us..had to ask for blow dryer...room was so dark couldnt see anything one small light between beds...blanket so thin didnt even realize one was on bed and asked for one..very small breakfast for what was listed ...took 5 tries each time to open door handle was messed up...will not stay again...shouldve asked for money back for what i paid not worth it for even one night

Good for a short stay
This is a nice place to stay for an evening or two. Pillows were terrible and there was a very thin covering on the bed. Rooms are clean and very basic.

Overall the room was fine but it was dusty. There was hair on the side table which was gross. We were started with a tiny bit of toilet paper so I had to go to the front desk to get it, in my pj's. Kids were running and yelling through the halls while we were trying to sleep which isn't the hotel's fault but was frustrating.

The hotel was not crowded so we were surprised to be given a room right in front of the main door to the second floor that had no closer so it banged very loud with every use. Also the ice machine was even closer. So we asked for a room change and we were moved two doors down. The room was clean and tidy.
