We booked this hotel to celebrate our anniversary. Unfortunately we got a queen room that was a very outdated and poorly maintained (Unit 202), to the point that it did not meet what we consider basic hotel standards. We shared our concerns with staff during our stay. While they were polite and acknowledged our feedback, no compensation was offered. The only option provided was to pay extra to upgrade rooms, which was disappointing given that the room we originally received was not acceptable. We were told that the king rooms were in better condition. This stay did not deliver the hotel experience we were hoping for, especially for a special occasion like an anniversary. Although we did not see the other rooms, I would strongly recommend that future guests avoid booking the queen room if they are similar to the one we were given.

Staff was extremely friendly and supportive. They offer a heater and extra blankets without even asking. The space is beautiful and charming. The perfect place to rest and enjoy family. Place is 28 min from Fredericksburg and 45 min from Dan Antonio.

Great way of checking in and I requested a room with jacuzzi and they put me in one that did not have one . So they quickly moved me to a room that had a jacuzzi and it was a great room. The two rooms were great .

We came here for our wedding weekend and interacted with the friendliest staff. An issue arose and the manager, Pete, promptly fixed the issues and was a gift to work with. He even provided us with a little historical tour of the property! It has such a rich history!

Check in was seamless, room was very clean and cozy. Perfect for what we were needing on a quick trip, although when we have more time to spend we will be returning.
