Comfortable and inviting

I had a lovely week at the Marriott hotel downtown Walnut Creek. The accommodations were comfortable and spacious, providing a peaceful retreat from the hustle of the city. The pool area was clean and serene, offering a nice escape with its tranquil atmosphere, despite some minor traffic noise in the background. Overall, the hotel's classy ambiance made for a delightful stay, perfectly blending relaxation with the vibrancy of downtown.

The only parking was paid valet and the breakfast was paid only. It was clean but lacked personality, but my big issue was the lack of free parking and only a sit-down (we were traveling with our dogs) breakfast. There was no good place to take our dogs to relieve themselves. The bed was very comfortable.

It was in a great location for our vacation. It was central to Napa Valley, Muir Woods, and San Francisco. All the places we had planned to visit. The amenities were great especially after a day out exploring. We really enjoyed the club lounge.

The hotel does not offer a self-parking option, only option is $32/night valet. And yet, there is no bell service. So we must pay to valet our car and then roll up and down our own bags. Ridiculous setup. Room was spacious and bed comfortable but it didn’t look very well maintained. It seemed old and edges needed a good scrubbing. I do not recommend. But that being said, sadly it may be the best option in the suburban location.
