We had the most amazing stay at this super cute family run hotel! The owner was so sweet and helpful. The “Grizzly” room was so fun, clean, cozy and spacious! 10/10 recommend!

I cannot recommend a hotel more than Mt. Baker! We arrived late and asked for ice for a sore back. No one was at the property, but an employee who lived near by came to the hotel and brought us a bag of ice! I've never stayed at a property with that type of customer service. Besides that, the room was also great. This is a wonderful place in a beautiful part of the state.

It looks like they are renovating and the changes are great. Very cute theme. Need new carpet in the unit and the outside stairs refinished. They were very helpful and accommodating.

The Mt Baker Hotel was definitely not what I imagined. It had all of the comforts and conveniences of an AirBnB. Large and roomy, all the little extras such as tooth brushes and paste for guests. The “hosts” Heater and Brandon provided great communication for my late check in as well as info on the town and finding places to eat through a series of text messages. Definitely a pleasant surprise and the locals were also very friendly as we dined in a local pizza place.

The owners go out of their way to be accommodating and helpful, and the property is very nice (and getting better!). It's located close to North Cascades National Park and there are plenty of services nearby for visitors. The owners provided a historical guide (a walking tour) of Concrete (lots of history I didn't know about). They also took the time to leave me some hiking trail information and explain some of the details of the park. The property isn't fancy, is in a historical building (so much history in Concrete!) with a bit of renovation ongoing, but the work they have already done is terrific and the room was super-comfortable and clean. Loved the fridge and coffee station, just what I needed to get away early for my hike. I can't say enough about the owners; they genuinely care about their guests' experience and put in a lot of time on extra touches. I'd absolutely stay here again, really enjoyed my visit!

This was a great 1 night stay while we visited Cascades national park. The owner was informative and good at communicating - we arrived late and did contactless check in that was a breeze. Loved having a living room and kitchenette area.

Recieved a very pleasant welcome from the property manager. Our accommodations were some of the nicest during our three week excursion. Our room, or need to say rooms, were much more spacious than expected, and included a full living room/kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. The hotel was a little far from North Cascades NP, which we were visiting, but the accommodations, local restaurant options, and pretty little community more than made up for the additional drive time over the few days. We highly recommend this hotel!

Extremely helpful and friendly service from front desk. Very large rooms - a suite, really - kitchenette, bathroom, bedroom and sitting room. Sparkling clean and just remodeled. Great view, rooms are on 2nd floor. Only one complaint- A/C does not reach the bedroom because of the layout of the suite. But that’s probably not an issue most of the year, just in July! Highly recommend!

Mt Baker Hotel itself was a nice hotel. It had a seperate area for the TV and couch. The bed room was seperate, and there was a huge very clean bathroom. Overall pretty nice. It was weird that the office for the hotel was only open from 10:30 to 7. There were no extras, no coffee in the morning, no ice machine. I didn't see anyone for hospitality until I was there for a day and a half, and I only saw him once. I was just different. Also we couldn't get a lot of tv channels, it said we didn't have access. Also, probably pretty insignificant but the soap for the shower was so small that we ran out of it. The downtown, where the hotel was located was pretty awful. We didn't pull into town until 7:00 from hiking all day. There was only one restaurant in the whole town that was open. And that restaurant was really a bar that had a pretty limited menu. None of the restaurants were open on Monday and Tuesday. I guess nobody goes on vacation on Mondays and Tuesdays. The ice cream shop closed at 6, the bakery isn't open on Mondays or Tuesdays. It was frustrating to say the least. The town is remote so having no restaurants felt really isolating. I would not stay here again, maybe a visit on the weekends when everything was open would be a better experience for someone else. There is a grocery store not to far away which is where we ended up getting food for breakfast.
