Check in was good, friendly staff and fast. Elevator was broken, having the carry luggage up two flight of stairs and not having AC in stairway nor hallway in 101 degree weather in Texas not good! Room was clean. Breakfast was included! The apple juice that was put out has fruit flies all inside container, husband told staff and then replaced it but did they not see when they put it out in the first place??? After paying 168 for one night, I was disappointed… and we will be booking elsewhere next time we are in the area.

1st floor smells missy when entering building. Bathroom cabinets in room 315 is tattered & needs repaired. The people in room 317 next to ours begin loudly laughing and talking from 4 am on. My husband and I got up at 5:45 because we could sleep - we left at 7:45am. We have stayed in Magnolia, Tx LaQuinta b4 and this was the worse experience.

My ONLY concern was the elevator that had just been repaired, and still seemed a bit off during our stay. The front desk lady who checked us in was extremely nice, helpful, and accommodating. Pool closed at 8, but we didn’t check in until 8:45. They let us swim until almost midnight, as long as we were quiet. The rooms were large and clean. They had actual k cups in the room along with Roku tv. The breakfast was average, but much needed! We love this specific la Quinta!

We loved the location. We could get to where we wanted to go in less than 20 mins. What we didn't like was the bed and pillows were not comfortable, the shower ran out of hot water and the water pressure was low, and the breakfast was very lackluster. Thankfully we knew of a great breakfast place lol

Stay Date: April 2025 Location: La Quinta Inn, Magnolia, TX We are in the hospitality industry ourselves, and this was hands down the worst stay we’ve ever experienced at any La Quinta. The property is in shocking disrepair. The elevators were completely out of service due to ongoing PIP renovations—forcing all guests, including those on the 3rd and 4th floors, to use the stairs. Our room reeked of mold, the carpet was torn and damp near the AC unit, and the bathtub was rusted and filthy. It was beyond unacceptable. When we voiced our concerns, not only was there no sense of urgency or apology, but we were also told no compensation or discount would be offered—because of the Chevron golf tournament in town that weekend. This is a clear case of prioritizing profit over guest experience. Absolutely do not recommend. Until this property undergoes a complete renovation and management overhaul, avoid it at all costs.

The worst hotel I’ve ever seen in my life. Bad smell, broken elevator—I had to carry my luggage up three floors. They kick you out at 11:00 a.m. The worst place in the United States. Absolutely terrible.

Sadly, the elevator wasn’t working. I had a family suite reserved, we ended up with a king and a couch on the second floor. After dragging our suitcases up two flights of stairs we all showered and got ready for bed. We had one grandchild with us. There was a used condom inside the sofa bed and that was just too much. We got a small discount on the room and the three of us slept in the bed. Miserable night. The staff was so nice to us, but it was really a bad stay.
