Nice hotel!

It was awesome! The check in clerk was really nice to accommodate our later arrival bc of orientation at Tennessee tech that day. The rooms were spacious, the beds were fluffy and a nice view from the second floor I loved the shampoo, conditioner and body wash that were on the walls of the tub/shower. The lotion was also attached to the wall near the sink and I loved this. It was close to campus with a Starbucks in the way. There is road construction done in front of the hotel so finding the entrance was tricky but we did it!

Not as good as expected

The majority of the staff were nice. The bed was ok. There was broken tile in the bathroom and the shampoo/conditioner/soap dispenser in the shower was nasty dirty. The outdoor pool was empty and was not advertised. It would have been nice to know the pool wasn't in working order since it was the main reason we picked this hotel.

The staff was over the top friendly. They two gentlemen and woman seemed to remember everyone, even on a extremely busy holiday weekend. They knew the places to go, not tourist spots, but places only locals know. They treat you like family and that’s the best.

This trip was cancelled in full with not only the hotel itself in person, but also with the booking company. I have left a total of 6 messages for the general manager to refund the money that was charged to my account and has posted to my account. I have also spoke with hotel.com who has called the hotel personally to refund the money and nobody had returned has returned the call or returned the money to my account. My stay previously was on May 9th. This trip for the 12th was booked in error originally with the wrong dates. Upon arriving on the 9th the reservation was changed and I was told by both parties that the original booking that was dated for the 12th was canceled. On the 12th there were three phone calls made to me at 2:30am where I called back approximately at 3:00am and also explained. Was told the General Manager would be in at 8 am haven't heard a word from her! Since I have called and left 5 messages for the GM who I was told was sick and at the doctor but would soon return and call me the next day. I am going on two weeks since my account was charged for a stay that I not only did not attend but cancelled 3 days prior to the check in date.
