For an old school "motel" is was super clean and very well taken care of over the years. A wonderful deck to hang out on by the water with lots of seating. Its rare to find an indoor & outdoor pool like it has. The bath towels were to die for, so soft and plush. The electronics were up to date and a generous size tv with plenty of channels. The proximity to the village of Cooperstown was less than a 10 min. drive along beautiful RT 80. There is no Verizon cell service at this location. It is well worth a stay!!!

Excellent old school motel

I absolutely love this place, so many independent mom and pop places have really gone downhill in New York state. This place is the exception and is exceptional. Brings me back to when I was younger and it was never a guessing game. Old school hotel with an indoor pool and an outdoor pool, a jacuzzi tub, and a small sauna. Rooms were kept up nicely. Nice views of the lake. The grounds were kept up nicely as well. I will be returning.

Beautiful location overlooking the lake. Very clean, but odor of cleaning chemicals was overpowering for many hours. Also, there is a door adjoining next room, and we were able to hear every conversation our neighbors had. We felt like we were sharing a room with another couple! I would have shared this with the employee when checking out, but she didn't even ask how our stay was.
