Dark and dingy rooms without proper lighting. Tired looking rooms with scuff marks all over the walls. The extra bed that was provided was rock hard. Dirty tea and coffee tray. Bathroom was spacious but could have been cleaned better.

Staff are fabulous and we loved the gathering in lobby for 5-6pm wine on the house.. This is our third time here and the hotel has lost some soul..no fire on ( it was broken they said) and they have stopped music playing.it used to be a buzzing bar now it’s dead except for the free wine sessions :)

Ideal location, amazing staff
This hotel was such a delight. It’s ideally situated near the major locations downtown and also close to the outer parts of the city. The rooms were clean and the front desk was super helpful with all our questions. Would definitely stay there again!

Great location
Great location. Staff very helpful and friendly. We had the small double room, but the bed didn’t come with a headboard as described and was up a step in a little like cocoon. There was very limited plug sockets in the room, was a kettle but no where close by to actually plug it in. Bathroom was a great size. But the curtain in the bathroom was see through so the rooms opposite could see you on the toilet or in the shower room! :(

The shower pressure was terrible. Felt like I was on a cruise ship. Also, the water from the shower got everywhere on the bathroom floor. Terrible design.

Do not book if travelling with kids. I booked a suite as photos showed a fridge in the room. Unfortunately when we arrived we found out the fridge is kept off for sustainability and wouldn't be turned on. We therefore struggled to store our baby food/milk and had to keep it in the hotel bar instead. Staff would not bring this to us if needed overnight due to lack of room service. You realise from the moment you check in that this hotel is not designed with families with young kids in mind. Check in is at the bar, there is no ramp if travelling with pushchair and no help with doors/luggage. If arriving early baby changing is also challenging as the changing table in lobby toilets is very small and fitted at a slant so young children slide/roll. Breakfast options for children are also shockingly limited. I really regretted booking this hotel with a toddler and tried to cancel my booking and go somewhere else. I have travelled a bit with my baby and this hotel was by far the worst at accommodating our needs. Save yourself a lot of stress and just avoid if you have a baby/young child.

Amazing hotel! Bikeable, walkable, shopping, restaurants, bike rental, gym and free delicious breakfast every day. Fitness room is tiny but ok. The only complaint is loud music at night on weekend you can hear in your room. Bring a sound machine
