Good cheap place to stay, especially if you only plan to sleep there. Overall property was clean and easy to find, gas station was a 2min walk away for snacks and whatnot. There is a 15% off at the restuarant Nobles, if you stay at the Inn. Staff were all super friendly and answer questions/phone calls quickly. Property needs updating and cleaning practices could be better, the sheets on the bed had strains on them, but I always take my own blankets anyway. Some outlets worked some didn't, shower pressure and hot water were amazing, bathroom sink didn't drain well. Good place to stay for a night or two, but not for an extended stay.

For the price and close location to the Ark Encounter, this room was fine. The motel is very dated and needs some love and care. The North Star Cafe was not open, and it--along with the office--looked like it was just furniture storage. All of the interactions with the "front desk" were friendly, but I suspect it's offsite as the office and cafe are not open. Our check-in consisted of a very friendly text with all of the instructions (e.g., door key code, WiFi password). It's definitely not Homewood Suites, but it fit the bill for an over-nighter.

The motel was a bit older but was being revamped and made comfortable! Price was reasonable; discounted meals at the sister Restaurant and management was eager to make us comfortable.

We ended up turning tail and leaving before our sty. The entire place looked manky and deserted; couldn't even locate an office. In the middle of nowhere; the advertised cafe was closed and for sale. We are two older ladies traveling alone and were afraid to stay there.
