The man who checked us in was the nicest hotel staff I’ve ever interacted with! The hotel was nice and they have a great free breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

Not up to Holiday Inn Express standards

This hotel was disappointing. The biggest issue was at checkin when the not friendly clerk refused to accept my Apple Mastercard for the incidentals deposit. He said they have trouble getting payment from Apple cards! Not only does this violate Mastercard vendor agreements it was not mentioned anywhere when the reservation was made. I asked him what if this was my only card? He shrugged his shoulders as if to say he didn't know and didn't care. Next, the place was not very clean. There was dark mold growing along the base of the shower. There was a belly up dead roach on the floor at the breakfast area. The breakfast choices were skimpy compared to other Holiday Inn Express locations. No yogurt in the mini fridge and the milds in there were not very cold. The hallways were hot, stuffy, and uninviting. The AC was noisy. All in all, I will avoid this location if I travel to Corpus Christi again unless they fix these issues
