We liked our experience at the room we stayed at. Located right next to the pool and spa. But I did find out that I liked staying at the cottage better which we stayed at the first time to our visit at the Pelican Bay.

Pelican Bay is always a perfect escape for our family. The lodge was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. We loved how peaceful the property felt, surrounded by nature, yet just a short drive to nearby restaurants and shops. We had a blast fishing off the pier and playing in the pool, while we enjoyed relaxing by the water. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for families looking to unplug, reconnect, and enjoy a peaceful relaxing stay!

Substandard property

Gum, candy wrappers, and pet food in abundance under edge of bed. No wifi signal. No remote to operate tv. Light switch broken so light didn’t work. The office closes at 5 pm so no service after that. Nobody to call about missing remote. I’m surprised Hotels.com would advertise this property-it is substandard. I won’t say it was terrible because it could be worse. Maybe one tier above a flophouse. Definitely not at the Hotels.com standard.

So I wanted to like this property but…check-in was interesting. I went to the office and was told that I would get an email with the door code. I drove to the unit but no code came. Plus someone was parked in the spot for my unit. I drove back to the office. The man working the front desk asked me to describe the car and then determined it was likely a staff member’s car. As for the door code, he seemed irritated with digital software but wrote down the door code for me. Once we got parked on the correct space and got inside. We were met with a heavily stained carpet and room with dirt and dust prevalent. The beds were fine just very old linens that had been heavily used. The cleanliness of the unit was subpar.

The gentleman in the office was very nice & welcoming. Cottages and rooms are very cozy and clean. The short walk to private pier was very convenient. Even fishing on the pier at night, you feel safe knowing only guests have access. The pool was relaxing too. This was a beautiful, peaceful stay. Will definitely book again when in area.

I rented 3 cottages for a small group of us & everyone was so pleased. All the cottages where so comfy & clean...the pool & hot tub were very well maintained & clean. We will all definitely stay there next again!!

This will be my third stay at the property. I don’t joke when I say it gets better and better. The pool was perfect this time. Before is was a little cloudy. My villa was so clean. I really love it here. Pets are welcome. Other guests were respectful. This is my go-to-getaway.

We enjoyed our yearly stay at this unique property. We like the private fishing pier and camping feel. Upkeep has seemed to slip a bit but we still plan on going again.

I liked the fact that it was quiet. Unfortunately when we got there we had no toilet paper in the bathroom. I contacted the property and did not get a call back. When we inquired at the office we were told that we should have had one roll. We said there was none. The person at the office suggested we go to the Dollar Store down the road. That was disappointing.

Quaint, quiet, and clean.

The Bungalows are so quaint and cute. The first night we were about the only ones there. But our last two nights lots of people, kids, and pets but it was very peaceful. They are very strict about making sure everyone is respectful. The bungalows were very clean and nice. We lovedit there and will be coming back. The gentleman that checked us in was fantastic. He had so much energy and such a positive vibe!!!
