Cottage 1-The bathroom shower had a mat in it when soaked did not feel like the cleanest situation when standing on it. However, the kitchen area was very clean. There were also 2 large spiders and a large roach in the room. I understand that critters can get in but maybe spray more often to prevent that. The pier was convenient and the swimming pool was cleaner than the last visit.

Great place to stay!

The resort was clean and really nice. The pool was refreshing and clean and the kids had a blast. The staff was nice and helpful.The rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was nice and clean. The pier was awesome to fish from. Over all we would stay here again.

The room was nice enough. All the coffee fixings except for the coffee in the room. When we asked about it, we were told they didn’t have coffee but we could buy some at Dollar General. Also, we had to take out our trash and strip the bed before we left… that’s a first. The property was nice. Pool and hot tub area was good.

We were unable to access our room when we arrived. I reached out to the property several times until I finally got a response 2 hours later. The pool was so mucky dirty you couldn’t see the bottom. The cottage was dated and plenty of wear and tear. The floors were filthy and have probably never been mopped or cleaned.

Floor felt gritty when walking with shoes and then while walking with white socks they turned black. Also, the chair and sofa need a good cleaning. The spoons had food stuck on them. Couldn’t leave food on counter due to ants.

Nice change of place to stay.

We decided to try this place since we go to Rockport every month. Checking in was very easy. The facility is old but well maintained. The pool and fishing pier are great. It’s very secluded, quiet and peaceful. We were there for 3 nights and not once were we asked about towels or trash. The trash can out by the pool was almost full when we got there and 4 days later it had still not been emptied. Upon checking out you must strip your beds and remove all trash from the room. That’s a little rough since the outside trash cans are full. It was a nice place to stay but the service is nonexistent.
