Our stay was fantastic! We had an amazing view from our room, parking was efficient and easy, the staff was absolutely so friendly and caring, and the breakfast was SO YUMMY. Best croissants ever! Felt like home, 5 stars across the board!!
Best hospitality. They didn’t mind making a coffee on demand. Remembered my preferences like cappuccino with breakfast. Very cordial. Fresh and hot breakfast at 7am to fill up before the hike or bike event for the day.
The proprietors are super friendly and awesome. I was there 3 days. I asked to put some food in their fridge and instead they put a fridge in my room. They put out a fabulous breakfast spread that rivals any I’ve seen anywhere. They offered to hold my bags while I walk the Alta Via 1. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Added bonus — it’s across the street from a supermarket and around the corner from the Main Street of town where all the action is (well, except for the hiking, which is why I’m here). As for hiking, I went on two epic hikes — one 10 miles the other 14.5 miles, leaving from the front door of the hotel, all the way up some mountains.
Staff were friendly and happy to help out with directions and recommendations for places to eat and rent ski equipment. Tasty breakfast with lots of options. Free parking next to the hotel. Interior a little dated but room was clean.
Loved this place! The staff were soooo amazing. We went off season and we’re the only ones at the property! The owner (I think?) was sooo nice and made us a small buffet breakfast just for us. Loved it!
I chose the hotel based ok it’s location to town and ski facilities since skiing was the reason I came to Cortina. It was PERFECT! Very welcoming every-time I returned back to the hotel. The breakfast had a broad selection of pastries including warm croissants, made to order scrambled eggs, plus typical other aspects of continental breakfasts and good cappuccinos, served 730-930. Rooms are all well
Maintained, cleaned daily and in good condition. Yup pThe ski buses (to Tofana/socrates/Faloria) is literally at the end of the driveway and they have a ski room in the garage. If you bring a padlock, you can lock them but it seems pretty secure. Faloria ski resort is a quick walk by road or around up and over the pedestrian bridge. The bus station is also very close as I took the Cortina Express to/from VCE. They were super flexible with a late checkout since I had planned to ski and had a evening bus. So thrilled that I switched from Rosapetra to here for both the ease of the stay and value.
They serve delicious scrambled eggs here—which already makes it the best hotel in Italy, maybe Europe, in my opinion. The staff is very nice, location is great and the room is very cozy. Anxious to go back. Highly recommended.
excellent stay; very friendly staff. The only thing which I might have liked improved would be the pillow which was hard for me. Centrally located. Great breakfast.
The place was lovely and the staff very friendly.Ke sure to ask the front desk for restaurants recommendation. Not only they will recommend something good but you get a discount too.
We really enjoyed our stay. Super lovely and helpful staff! We got restaurant recommendations with discounts which was handy. The location is very convenient, near supermarkets, restaurants and the town centre. It was a great base for our hiking trip. Main negative was that the shower tended to flood.
